“Where is Armin in all this? And Levi?” Literally me through the whole episode the first time I watched it. 😂 I was just as excited as you to see everyone again and how much they’ve matured and the new outfits!!! So sleek! I do remember being disappointed that we never saw Armin in this one and I was like BUT WHAT ABOUT ARMIN??? Levi though. LEVI. 👌👌👌 You’re right, Eren really does look a lot like Grisha now. It’s kind of sad that when we watch this episode, we’re so hyped and cheering for our team but really they’re out there killing people. It almost feels wrong to cheer for them. But we know why they’re doing it and we’re just so proud of the way they’ve grown up and…yeah. RIP to Zofia and Udo though ☹️. Love this episode and the next. Honestly this whole season. So hyped to keep watching with you!

No other show has ever evoked such hype from me than seeing this episode for the first time- Attack on Titan is just on another level. SO glad you felt the hype too, and to witness someone react to this for the first time is such fun, and I'm still just as hyped as the first time I saw this!

After 5 episodes with the enemy we finally see our crew back in action and it is so worth the wait. The end especially goes hard (this is one I've rewatched numerous times). If you don't really think about things then Eren is a total badass this episode. Turn your brain back on and I don't think I can justify his actions and the death he caused...Its a tv show though, and an anime at that- I'm still rootin for Eren and the Eldians. This one was rough but I'm glad they didn't hold back- Udo's fate is what war looks like. And yes Eren totally looks like Grisha and it does not suit him well in my opinion. Everyone else got an upgrade.

I'm glad you caught on that this was a reunion for between Eren and Mikasa. Whatever Eren was doing as far as infiltrating Marley he was doing solo. The comments from Floch speaking about "the devil we need" echo's what he said about Erwin. Someone who is willing to make the hard choices, even if it means bloodshed.

Hi Vee! First, Levi! I noticed that Levi is the only one wearing the Scouting Legion cape. I believe this is his way of showing that, unlike the others, he is not there for Erin and her plans but to fulfill his promise to Erwin. That's what matters to him. That's what drives him. Mikasa and the others Even though they were fighting with Erin, they only attacked military personnel. From Mikasa's words (please come home), Eren pushed them into war, too. Eren As for Eren, he chose a place to transform, which would mean that the first to die in the war he had just started were the Eldian civilians oppressed by Marley. It seems he has lost all his humanity. In my opinion, he is not the same as Reiner. Reineir suffered from brainwashing and indoctrination. He had the illusion that he and his mother would be treated as equals by the Marleyans because they had become "honorary citizens." With this, they could join their father, become a happy family, and be proud of their parents. That was the foolish illusion he had. He only came to his senses at the parade. Already on Paradis Island, aware that he would never stop being seen as an Eldian, he knew that returning and not completing the mission was a death sentence. That's why he freakout and continued with the mission. Reiner's split personality arose from the remorse and guilt he felt. In the last few episodes, we were shown that he has nightmares. He seems to have great remorse for what he did and still does. Eren decided to invade, kill, and start a war, dragging his friends. He dissembles by saying he did the same as Reiner, saying it is the only way. Like I said, it seems like he lost all his humanity. So far, the anime is showing how everything in a war is unfair. This show is amazing!

From Season 4 the animation studio was changed from Wit to Mappa, so the drawing style is a bit different, too. That may be the other reason why the characters look so different besides the years have passed in the story.
