Hey guys! Next episode is available but I want to address a couple things.

I have been getting some hate regarding some of my opinions on this show and how im not noticing things etc, I even had to block someone from patreon for it. I just want to say (im only human after all, don't put the blame on me). I don't get everything the first time, I am not smarter than you and I never claimed to be, I'm sorry if it offends you that I am not, I don't read up on lore I try to be partial as a first time viewer though I do have strong opinions on why Erwin is the best, but that does not mean I go around calling someone who doesn't have the same opinion as me an idiot or spoil the show for them etc. We are all human and we're allowed to have different opinions and especially about a universe that isn't real and isn't affecting us in the real world in any way, THOUGH it makes me and you emotional, it isn't real. We watch it for entertainment and to feel a story through a medium. Please stop hating on me and fighting with each other in the comments. I have never felt like I ever needed to say this especially within my own community. I love Erwin as much as you love Eren, Armin, Levi, Mikasa, Su Casa, Mojo Dojo Casa House etc., but they aren't real I am sorry to say. They FEEL real they really do but they're not. Please keep it civil.

Aside from that, I do read your comments as well. I do not respond all the time because I am actually busy recording content when I'm free because I feel it's more important than comments so you guys can keep watching along with me! Now this means I also watch content in bursts, where I watch 4 episodes at a time. Now I didn't watch the opening because I went with the previous comment saying don't watch it. I recorded 4 episodes that way, so I posted 2 and now people are disappointed I wasn't watching it on the 3rd episode. Sometimes the changes can be seen later on than expected because the editors have a schedule to upload stuff and so do I. There's only enough man power to do certain things by certain time with YouTube schedule, patreon schedule, my real life stuff etc. That's why I have a schedule. I would love to throw the full length reaction up as soon as it's uploaded but it doesn't work like that I am sorry to say.  It requires the editors to find the time when they're not editing Youtube content to work on a patreon edit which takes a lot of time! So please consider this while writing your comments. That is all I am asking!

Aside from this, I still appreciate each and everyone of you because it's my little community. Everyone who is apart of it is as important as everyone else. Please treat each other nicely and it's okay to be mad sometimes, but please don't make it a regular occurrence. WE ARE ONLY HUMAN AFTER ALL ;) This is just for the bad apples and or future bad apples, but the 1% always ruin the experience for the other 99% of good people

Hi V! I have a question. Why don’t the videos for an attack on titan have any audio? Is it because of copy rights?

Derder

I'm pretty sure if I named my favorite AoT character some people would be outraged, as it's not one of the "main" characters, but no one can change my mind on it. Also I've re-watched this series as I'm sure most AoT fans have multiple times, and still catch things I've missed each time.

vkunia

Yes :) All of my videos are to be synced with your own copy because of copyright issues! I wish I could tell people this somehow else other than the main page I have tried to make it apparent to the best of my ability

ButtercupsTrueLove

The negative comments that V has received are not unique to her Patreon channel. It's common wherever there is a large enough subscriber base to have widely varying opinions. When that happens, there may be a small percentage that consider their opinions to be the ONLY valid opinions possible and consider any dissenting views to be stupid or just plain wrong. I've seen this behavior on other channels and YouTube where a few folks live and breathe the Marvel or DC universe like their lives depended upon it. That's fine - but it doesn't necessarily work that way for everyone else in the world. If these fans can't accept that people may have a different opinion in a reaction video, then perhaps they should start their own Patreon channel and encourage people to support them only if they agree with them one-hundred percent of the time on everything.

Next episode things are going to start heating up!

Regarding the haters topic I just want to say if I am here, is because I love V’s reactions. Even if I disagree in some point, I love her honest reactions and comments. Thanks V, we love you.

Francisco Mejicanos

Oh alrighty then! Thank you! Can’t wait to see the next episode reaction. The next two episodes are amazing!

michael

cant wait to see your reaction to the next couple episodes!!

I'm so sorry for the hate comments you've gotten, reading those comments really made me sad- everyone has an opinion, that's one of the reasons why your content is so great. But while I prefer Armin to Erwin, neither of them are real, so why are people making such a big deal out of it? :( But wowww those comments took it way too far... in other news, epic episode, epic reaction, and so exciting!

I hope the bad apples dont taint your experience of watching the show for the first time <3

You don’t have to apologize for your reactions, opinions, or worry about missing details! Especially in a show as complex as AOT, for several reasons. One being that new information is constantly being revealed and over time those opinions may change or may be re-examined. A simple example of this can be seen through Eren, who goes from hating titans more than anyone in S1 to fully sympathizing with them as former patriots/people after unlocking his dad’s memories at the end of season 3. The next reason, which you’ve already noticed due to your intelligent ability to sympathize with characters on different ‘sides,’ is that this world isn’t black and white and is extremely realistic aside from the titan powers. There’s supposed to be conflict and room for debate; many parties/sides are not entirely innocent, cannot be completely morally justified, all while having bits of legitimate moral justification for feeling or acting a certain way - it’s literally a theme of the show and sadly anyone who can’t be civil toward you in the comments, especially as someone as kind as you, isn’t appreciating or understanding AOT as much as you are, and this is your first watch unlike theirs! Anyone who claims they noticed or fully understood everything on their first watch is almost certainly full of shit, the rewatch value of this show is insane as there are things one can catch on their 2nd, 3rd, … etc rewatch and is a big reason why it’s so popular and so many people like viewing reactions to it as they attempt to relive their first watch or emotions they felt through the reactor. If they can’t comprehend a reaction or opinion might not be exactly what THEY want, that’s entirely their problem and being unable to understand that while simultaneously lashing out at you is simply immature and probably lacking in empathy. Which is ironic, as it’s people like that both in the show and the real world that perpetuate cycles of hate and discrimination. Lastly, don’t sell yourself short! You are entitled to your own genuine reactions, thoughts, and feelings; don’t let anyone else take that away from you in such a great (and traumatic, lol) story in which it’s been clear you’ve been enjoying and invested in. I hope whoever the asshole(s) was/were didn’t spoil much and that it doesn’t take away from your future enjoyment of watching this show.

My_Cousin_Mose

I had to rewatch each of these last few episodes right away to pick up everything and I'm certain I haven't actually picked up "everything" yet. Don't feel bad about not catching stuff or about your opinions. I'm with you on your love for Erwin and on the other hand the story of Ymir holds little for me. To each their own, I'm certainly enjoying the rewatch. Now onto the episode.

LFilipe Borges

A cool detail is that we saw Falco Grice's uncle last season in Grisha's flashback. If you remember the first person that is thrown off the walls, Grisha screams for him using his last name.

Skellyp

yall need to chill, let the person watch the show at there own pace. most no one catches every thing. thats why most ppl have to rewatch it multiple times to truly understand it. tbh, you sholdnt read comments for aot, 1 cus ppl spoil thinking they arent some how, and 2 a loud minority can be loud af and ruin the experience.

Honest, raw, funny and entertaining reactions are what most of us want out of V's reactions, and not to compare, but she's got one of the more unique personalities out of the plethora of reactors. V, your commentary is always interesting and fun when you point things out your way, the things you perceive, from shows to movies, you catch things sometimes I didn't, not all reactors catch every single thing we hope they do, some more than others. Sometimes Attack on Titan reactors get certain hate comments and the reactors comment on it in their videos. Season 4 got heavy with exposition, mythology, lore, plot, etc. Many reactors get confused with the details from the season's opening, some catch on quicker than others, others completely miss things, others perceive it all impressively, others have a group to bounce ideas off of. Us mere mortal viewers can't even remember how much we understood on first viewing, and many of us actually read the manga first, that is easier to digest and recall than a speed breaking episode. Most of us have the luxury of rewatching multiple times and don't put ourselves out there for the world to judge our first reaction to something. Attack on Titan being a popular anime, it unfortunately attracts certain types, a subset of fandom. AOT fandom is/was notorious for spoiling in comments, so I hope V you avoided most of the worst. There is also a portion of the fandom, like in all fandoms, that likes to loudly complain about the silliest of nonsense, sometimes legitimate. Now that manga and anime-onlies have merged mostly, V, you are gonna get all of them. So not sure what kind of specific hating was going on, and it's easy to say ignore it, but let it wash off of you at the end of the day, don't let it spoil the fun and substantial commentary from the more socially-aware part of the community. Like you said, it's anime after all. In all media online some fans just wanna have people mirror back themselves to legitimize their own views, and thus be cheaply validated, instead of meaningful validation in life, and many have not learned to express themselves in a properly sociable manner, there will always be handfuls of these people in certain communities seemingly more than others. There are plenty more people that likely don't comment for a myriad of reasons that understand the reality of things, but I understand how it feels like they are the minority sometimes. Anyway, the past 3 seasons of Attack on Titan will feel like a prologue, the seed of the story, despite how many praise certain aspects of the last season, it dimly compares to what is to come in the plot, story, characters, this is where the real show is at now, enjoy the hell of a ride that is to come.

Hi! Before I dive into the reaction I just want to say a few things about your notes here. First, if I or any of us made you feel like we hated you or think you’re stupid in any way, I am so sorry! I remember being surprised and disappointed that you didn’t really like Armin, but that didn’t ruin your reactions for me or make me mad at you. Everybody is drawn to different characters and there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m sorry not everyone understands that. As for you not getting things or being confused, if anyone is upset with you over that they’ve probably forgotten just how confused they were on first watch. I know there was a lot I struggled to comprehend the first time around haha. You’re one of my favorite reactors because you are so honest and genuine, so please don’t ever feel like you have to be worried about being judged. I’m sorry you were made to feel that way. I think that at its core, AOT is very much a good example of what you said here—we are all only human. Nobody’s better than anyone else. At the end of the day we’re all here to have fun and escape our own routines by watching shows/movies with you and I agree that it shouldn’t be taken too seriously. Speaking of which, your Mikasa, Su Casa, etc comment had me cracking up. Please don’t ever change. 😂 And now on to the reaction. Thank you for all the work you do to get these reactions out to us and give us something entertaining to look forward to. 😊

Kel

I actually really love that you do this because I’m able to watch along in dub while you’re watching sub. 😂 It’s a win for both of us!

Kel

You hyperventilating at the end of the episode is the BEST. 😂 Also every time you laughed at the name Willy I giggled because he really does not look like a Willy! “They look like Ghostbusters” OMG I CAN NEVER UNSEE THIS NOW. 😂😂😂 So excited to continue this journey with you! Hope you’re having a great week.

MenuMitch

Great reaction Vee, I cant wait for the next episodes! Whats interesting watching dub now is that its immediately recognizable as Eren lol, in my first watch I didnt know for sure until this episode too. To Vee and the team, yall are doing great <3

Anonymous

don't listen to them, these reactions are iconic it can happen to everyone to miss things and it's funny to see that you don't notice it later like zieg's name hahaha

WeatherReport

Willy and Magath are talking. They're aware Paradis might have infiltrated Marley. Willy is planning to unite the world andhe wants Magath to be the leader of Marley. In order for peace to truly be achieved: Paradis must be destroyed. After that...well, guess they have no more use for Eldians.

Jorge Hernandez

I think the best way for you to enjoy your experience is to ignore as much as the negativity in the comments as possible. I have watched many reactions to AoT and unfortunately this is not the first time I've seen a YT'er make this statement. Don't get hung up on the negativity is all I'm saying.

Zordon of Eltar

Have you ever watched Emperor's New Groove?

Jonah Bertorelli

I love how that cottonheaded ninnymuggins that tried to spoil the show for you in last episodes comment section, got mad that you didn't realize it was Eren in the last 10 seconds of the show, and you realized it in the first 10 seconds of this episode. HAHAHAHA get got weirdo. Well done Vee! haha also glad that you watched it in a clump of 4 so that it wasn't even possible to spoil it.

Jonah Bertorelli

Can someone who's deep into the lore and or anime please give me a short list of a couple of the things that get spoiled in the intro at least from season 1-3. Don't post any spoilers of course for future episodes, but I for one can't imagine what the hell the spoilers were other than flashes of things to be revealed like the simple fact that there's another more advanced society out there, or that the basement door was a relevant piece of information. those are the only ones I can think of even being spoilers tiny insignificant teasers like that. But with this HUGE debate on watching vs not watching the intro's I'd like to know WHY!? what is the huge issue with someone watching the intros? and what did I miss?!

LFilipe Borges

S3P2 one shows from episode one that the battle will have mindless titans, that the beast will throw shattered rocks like a shotgun, the scouts new weapon (thunder spears), and random shots from the middle of the battle. It's not a big deal, but it's cooler to go in totally blind. In S2 I think some people prefer for the reactor to not even suspect that the Armored and Colossal are in the season, because that's the only thing that shows. But anyway, I haven't seen a HUGE debate myself. I think V just likes to err on the side of caution because some anime OP do show off too much, which can ruin the presentation manga author meant. It's not as common nowadays as it was 20 years ago but sometimes happens.

Jonah Bertorelli

Awesome thanks for clarifying. And I guess I can't say "huge" debate but I've seen at least one to three comments on almost any episode I actually scroll through all the comments and they seem to be polar opposites, some really want her to watch them, or at the least think it's stupid to not watch them, and some swear not too so it seemed to be polarizing enough for me to think it was a pretty big debate amongst the fans. haha appreciate the detailed reply!

LFilipe Borges

Yeah, I think it's more a thing of the minorities being loud. The guy who was making a really big deal about her not watching the OP a couple episode back was the same one who was blocked last episode for being toxic. And V asked if she should watch the OP and keeps avoiding, and people keep saying that yes, it has not spoilers. But she was a few episodes ahead, so the answers keep getting repeated every post.
