I have to admit that I didn't think I would feel so bad for Reiner at the end of the episode, but I did. Especially since I watched the Japanese version. In the English dub, he screams that he doesn't want to die, which is still sad, but predictable. But in the Japanese version, the way he says "wait!" just made me think that maybe there was a way to talk it out, or find a non-violent solution. And then seeing him get blown up right after... I didn't know how to feel.

Oh my gosh, there’s so so much I want to say about comments you made but I can’t so…ahhhhh this show is insane! I agree about Erwin, he really is a super genius. You have to love the guy even though he feels his dreams and motivations are selfish. Also Reiner…it’s hard to not feel sad in that scene, right? In the dub it hits me harder because in sub he just screams out “Wait!” at the end but in the English dub it’s “No! I don’t want to die!” And my heart kind of breaks for him even though like you said, he’s done horrific things. You can’t help but feel a little sorry for him. You’re getting so close to my 3 favorite episodes of the entire show. One more, then the 3 that are in my opinion the best. Though some in season 4 come close. Anyway I’m rambling now but I’m so happy to be watching with you! Can’t wait for the next!

Finally caught up to your latest reaction of AOT! You're one of my fav reactors of the show now XD Can't wait to watch the next episodes with you! Yes, Erwin does have a habit of using people as bait lmao If u recall, Eren did learn some 1v1 combat tips from Annie who was like one of their best fighters so I'd bet on him with a match against Reiner Also I kinda laughed at how confident Reiner was that he has armor when all the scouts prob know a titan's eye is one of its exposed areas XD but yeah, I did feel bad at the end. AOT does a great job at making you feel mixed feelings

Omgomg I can't wait then :') I'm looking forward to it but I'm also *terrified* to see where this goes.... I have a really bad feeling.. I had to catch myself about feeling bad about Reiner, imagine the writing being so good that they catch you off guard and make you *actually* feel bad for a dude who committed so many atrocities. so wild to me I love Erwin absolute one of my top characters :')
