And starts the greatest season in television history. Vince believed in writing the character's stories as they went along instead of start to finish. They'd back a character into a corner organically and spend hrs & hrs in the writing room figuring ways they could make an out. At the time of shooting this episode they had no plan for how the M60 gun from the cold open would make it's return to the story. The fact that they can just sprinkle in tools to a scene whether it's objects or something a character says as they go along and then come back to them full circle in such a clever & holistic way makes it feel as if it was all planned from the start. Part of the magic of this show.

I can't believe you actually said at the beginning that it would be about Walt returning to normal. 😂 Ain't no way V, he poisoned a child, like seriously the man doesn't deserve normal. He deserves to have it blow up in his face. That goes to show how good the writing is, and of course, Bryan Cranstons performance is just on another level. Him saying "because I say so" and just intimidating Saul in his own office shows that Walt is going off the rails. Now that he's not in danger, and there's no one to challenge him, he can be the man he's always wanted to be. Can't wait for the rest of the season, V!

Walt became Gus in the last episode, let's see how he does. Walt is the greatest bad guy in all of television. This is one of the only shows where I love seeing the bad guy do bad guy things😂 Walt will not return to normal, this is Breaking Bad, so get that notion out your head. xD

LETS GOOOOOOooooo Computers and magnets - computers are actually very easily damaged by even a weak magnet, especially if they have a disc harddrive (which is pretty much the only type of HDs available during the 2000s). That magnet would literally erase the hard drive of any computer caught in it's magnetic field. Even modern harddrives can be damaged beyond repair with the right magnet.

Walt's "I forgive you" is so chilling. Imagine you're Skyler--you've only just discovered what your husband is truly capable of. You're now trapped in a house with him, with literally nobody to confide in. And he comes in and says "I forgive you" as if she's guilty of something worse than the things he is guilty of. Taking Gus down gave him the biggest boost of ego possible. Now that he can finally express the villainous, egotistical maniac he's always been at heart, he's addicted to the feeling of power it gives him.

I just realized as a reactor you probably don't have much time to watch things in your past time so you don't have the comfort of just restarting the show at the end to act like it didn't end! lol That's gotta make the endings of shows like this that much more difficult.
