Man, in that closing scene they use the same song from the scene of Jane's Demise. It must feel like the world is crumbling in for Walter. Gus's instincts told him something wasn't right. One episode away from the season 4 finale

It's not just instincts. Gus is incredibly smart and he thought about everything. Jesse caused enough of a ruckus to make Gus come there personally. Jesse then just stated at the hospital. He probably also figured Walts hand in this. A perfect plan just to get Gus out in the open. Gus doesn't have powers 😅 he's just a genius.

The opening scene to better call saul is a 4 minute paid commercial... Compare that to BB's iconic opening scene/pilot. Not the same.

I think I like Better Call Saul better than Breaking Bad. Can't really bring it up yet, but this episode reminded of my one complaint about Breaking Bad.

Listen, Better Call Saul is waaay better than most people give it credit for. It's a slower start in terms of "action," but the writing is just as superb as it is here. And it's not all just shenanigans, without spoiling things, just remember that it takes place in the same general area(s) and timeline if you catch my drift. Watching your BB reactions and seeing how much you appreciate the characters, camerawork, and writing, I can guarantee you'll love it.

For the record - Better Call Saul is just as good as Breaking Bad. The writers really hit their stride in the last three seasons in Breaking Bad and brought that energy entirely into Better Call Saul from episode 1. Also - there is a reason why this is like my 12th rewatch of Breaking Bad - There is SO MUCH I catch on rewatch that I totally missed my first viewings. Breaking Bad, to me, is the film/TV equivalent of Poetry. Cinematography is like poetry, the writing, the characters, the drama, the storytelling... UGH, there is just nothing that is like Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul.

I am so eager for the next episode. Thankfully you won't have to wait to start season five but I am sad we are nearing the end. Better Call Saul just continue's the quality from this show. It doesn't tend to be as intense but it is just as captivating. It is debatable which is better but I particularly enjoy the cinematography of BCS. It feels like every shot is perfectly framed.

Oh Veeeee!! You will enjoy Better Call Saul at LEAST equally to Breaking Bad! Just as good writing, acting, storylines, scenery/shots and CHARACTERS. And since it's a 'prequel'..... NO SPOILERS!

Probs a hot take but imo bcs is no where near as compelling and dramatic as bb. Bb is a 10/10 and bcs is a 8.5 for me overall. The craziness just isn't on the same level for me.

Agreed… I mean, from a writing standpoint, with the concept they had, it couldn’t be done any better. Just the whole chem teacher becoming Scarface thing, lot more potential

Better Call Saul is a masterpiece that is built on the foundation of Breaking Bad. The two shows are interwoven so beautifully you will gush over every second of it as a Breaking Bad fan. You get a lot of backstory of some of our favorite Breaking Bad characters, not just Saul Goodman. And the new characters that are introduced really help to make the "Breaking Bad Universe" more interesting and memorable.

Just watched your YouTube reaction to episodes 9-11 & based on how much I have enjoyed your Breaking Bad reactions, I felt I needed to become a Patron before the finale. Season 5 is the very best season of the series and to be able to watch your full reactions to the final season is going to be amazing!!!! Oh yeah, yes, ‘BETTER CALL SAUL’ is equal to or can even be considered greater than it’s predecessor Breaking Bad! I’ll definitely be remaining a Patron once you continue with that series 👍🏼💯
