“His eyebrows don’t lie.” 😂 Definitely my favorite comment during this reaction. But seriously I loved getting Erwin’s backstory and learning why he’s so desperate to uncover the truth. He really is serious, and now we know why. And yes to everything you said about Historia’s mother. So so sad. I’m a little sad that you’re switching back to sub but I had a feeling it might happen. There’s so much pressure on reactors to this show to watch the sub, almost all of them end up switching eventually and I just wish people would let reactors watch the way they want to. But as long as it doesn’t take away from your enjoyment of the show, I guess that’s what matters. Still loving your reactions so much!

I cant watch the reaction right now but based on the comments it seems like you switched back to sub. As a die-hard fan of AoT and sub purist I should be happy but not if the decision was made under pressure and basicly against your wishes. I hope I did not contribute to make you feel bad about watching in dub. If I did I apologise profusely. Watch it in german if you feel like it, V.

BOOOOOOOOOO. VEEEEEEE. what do you mean "what's more comfortable for us". WE'RE NOT ABLE TO LISTEN TO YOUR AUDIO LOL. The only difference between sub and dub is what you can hear, and you prefer hearing the english dub. People are just being ridiculously pretentious and think the only correct way to watch anime is in the most-japanesey way possible. $100 says most if not everyone who is trying to force you to watch sub has never watched the dub themselves. I'm totally in agreement with you, the dub is more enjoyable to watch. And us watching your reaction, there's literally no way we could tell if you're watching sub or dub so it's not like it's affecting our experience watching you react

Seriously, its not like we can hear what V is watching. She's going to react the exact same way regardless because this show even has a quality dub like I said in an earlier post on the show. Honestly, V could just lie about the audio and still put on subtitles and literally NO ONE would be able to tell the difference. I hate when Sub purists bully and pressure especially on a show that got great voice actors. The show was an instant hit. They can afford great dubbing and they paid for great dubbing. Sub purists are a step below wine snobs, lol. Its the stupidest hill to die on, lol.

preach. the sub fanatics don't even know what they want. the only discernible difference on our end is that the reactions will be worse because she'll be missing things that are lost in translation and be too focused on the subtitles that she'll miss more things happening on the screen. then they'll enjoy the reactions less and probably stop watching, then go to another reaction channel and repeat the process. Viewers are dumb. Watch in whatever way maximizes the reaction content

I like sub, I watch it in subbed when I enjoy AoT, but please if you enjoy dubbed, watch it and enjoy it how YOU enjoy it. Sometimes passionate communities have a way of ruining things for new people, and being part of the sub side of the community it's upsetting to feel like you've been pressured to enjoy it "our way or the highway". The show is incredible in sub or dub. Stop ruining nice things Sub Purists.

do you speak japanese? If not you're just saying you like the way japanese voices sound, you don't really have an informed answer. I've been teaching myself japanese just so i can try to appreciate subbed anime more and I can pick up a bit here and there, not great yet, but I still prefer dub for AOT. I'm not pretending when I have that opinion, and there's no objective measure you can use to refute it

There are a lot of intense speech scenes where i actually prefer the dub =/ we can't hear your audio anyway so just watch what you enjoy the most

Watch in the format you please, but I stand by my opinion that media is typically best experienced in the source language as originally directed. The exception is Ghost Stories.
