Hi friends!!

Here's the long awaited Arachnophobia (1990) Collab viddy with Nat Gold!! We both HATE spiders and this was honestly really scary to do (spiders NO THANKS) but it turned out to be so much fun and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did! :)

We watched this on Amazon for those wondering!

Let me know your thoughts down below and if you'd want more collabs in the future ✨
Most importantly, thank you for your continued support on Patreon. I could not have done this without you 💖

Huge fan of both of you but this movie scarred me as a child. I’ll have to leave this one playing minimized.

Ian

Oh wow over on nats channel we have been saying she should watch this but never thought it would ever happen cuz like yourself Vicky hates spiders , so this is a big surprise 😃 going shopping in a bit so will be grabbing popcorn to enjoy while watching later 🙌 this is going to be amazing 🤩

vkunia

LMAO I completely understand why... we both couldn't have our feet on the floor it was too scary watching a Spider movie (just thinking about it makes you feel like spiders are crawling on you 😭)

Ian

Doesn't it though 😱 like when you get a cobweb on you for the next few hours you think spiders and crawling on you 😧

Matt

V and Nat in the same spider-verse 🤯

Ian Cano

OMG this is gonna be classic.

I so wish I could SQUEEEEEE In Hungarian! I was one of the ones who pushed for this when we all heard about the collab. I never thought it would happen! I just got to work, but 1st thing tomorrow, I'm grabbing a drink, grabbing a snack - and I'm gonna watch 2 girls cringe and scream for 2 hours! And then ---- I'm probably going to watch it again! SO HAPPY!

RIP Julian Sands. First time I’m watching one of his films since he’s passed.

Dioskur

oh god now i have to watch a movie that hunted me forever maybe it helps to get drunk, to reduce my existential fear? lets do this

vlocke67

lol vee how did you get convinced to watch this?

YodatheHobbit

Oh wow. I expected the collab to be a film that's a bit more interesting. This kind of movie is great, just not the kind of "big event" film I anticipated. I don't think I've wanted to rewatch this movie since like 1999, but I guess I could refamiliarize myself with it.

Ian

Just finished watching and that was fantastic the jump scare just after the hour mark got me good lol 😆 I was munching on popcorn but after a certain moment I soon stopped haha no more thankyou 😱 , the entire house scene was the worst I'd be so dead in that scenario so dead . Fun little story - during one of dakara's twitch streams ( apologies I don't make your streams I'm always sleeping Timezones what ya gonna do 🤷 ) from a while ago now she orders food and at that moment someone commented that there was a spider behind her on the wall which had her freaking out big time it was pretty funny ngl , anyways her husband was watching the stream too and the food arrived , if I remember correctly it was a burger, so jay said I will answer the door and bring you the food unknown to dak he ( can't remember which now ) either drew a spider on the inside of the lid or placed a rubber spider in the box. Well you can imagine the moment dakara opened the box lol talk about a jump scare it was very funny ,well for us not for her poor thing 😄 . As I said this was really great you are both amazing reactors and I hope the collaboration brings you both tons of subscribers . I've loved both the Collabs you did it was a joy to watch and hopefully you team up and do it again in the future 🎉 tbh I'd be up for you doing a collaboration with anyone Vicky 👌 I can picture you and Jen Murray for example having a blast together. Well cheers for the fun time guys and have an amazing weekend

And to think that a remake is coming from Christopher Landon directing and James Wan to produce.

2023-11-25 13:04:14 You mentioned the Fight or Flight response. Did you know that there is actually 4 F's to that response? Fight, Flight, Freeze, and Faun. It's surprise/survival trauma response. You know about fight or flight. Freeze is easy to understand seeing as Jeff's response is freezing. The faun response is more in line with Stockholm Syndrome; sympathizing with your attacker/abuser/kidnapper in order to survive, endure, and ultimately escape the situation.

For more young John Goodman, I highly recommend King Ralph.

The scene that effed me up the most during my childhood, was the shower scene. I was always afraid to close my eyes during showers because of that scene haha Thinking there would be some spider waiting for its moment to jump on ma dam face!

Frankie H

This movie scared the crap out of me as a kid, and still does a little. It's because of this movie that I always look up before entering the shower. A surprisingly good film. I didn't realize how funny it was. Also on a sad note, Julian Sands who played the arrogant spider scientist passed away at the start of 2023 from some undetermined hiking accident in the mountains outside of LA.

My favorite moments were when Natalie would get scared by her headphone cord, or saw a non-spider on screen, but thought it was a spider, and jumped - and every time freaked Vee out. Such a fun reaction!

Samurai Shampoo01

Lmao I feel like Nat was giving Vee more jumpscares than the movie itself
