Hi friends!

Since Demon Slayer's latest arc has an episode coming out weekly, I figured I can also focus on another Anime while still waiting for the rest of this arc to come out!!

So help me decide what you'll like for me to experience first and to watch along with me!! 🤗☺️

So I took the previous most popular recommendations (also taking into account whether I have already seen the show, how long it is, etc).

I trust you guys, I know you'll pick something great!! I can't wait to see what you guys choose 😘😌

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend/long weekend for Americans!!! Have a good holiday if you're celebrating as well as rest of your week friends!!
I appreciate you all so much for being here. You guys are genuinely the best and I thank you for letting me continue doing what I truly love and enjoy. 🥰

Castlevania FTW! Absolutely that one. Also throw Zootopia into your one-off movie bin. Its a good one.

Don't really see how anything beats AoT when it comes to reaction content.

I just came here to see how many actually voted for Neon Genesis, lol. Brilliant and beautiful but not seeing many philosophers in your comments, lately, lol. Attack on Titan has moments but is overall has become kind of boring, imo. Castlevania is the clear winner in my mind but your polls don't be like that, lol.

I voted for Evangelion, since she may want to find out for herself why it's still talked about in anime circles after 27 years (not just due to the endless merchandising 😄)

I'm not a big anime guy but I do enjoy it from time to time. I'm curious about Attack on Titan, and what's up with the giant skinless dude with the crazy teeth. That's a big anime guy.

OP Man! But just the amazing glorious first season please. 2nd one is a waste of brain drive space fr

Macross plus. The one I sent you. 😭

I'm a bit older so I'm not much into amine... I grew up on Star Blazers.... the godfather of all amine 😅

Urusei Yatsura '22. (Or the old-skool Original-series movies on Crunchyroll.) After twenty years lost in exile, ITS TIME HAS COME.

Mike Gallagher

We're off to outer space, we're leaving mother earth, to save the human race, our Star Blazers! lol

If you are looking for really emotional animes, Violet Evergarden and Your Lie in April are the best ones. Spy X Family is a fun, family slice of life with a cold war spy background. The characters are good, the story is interesting too, despite it is getting slower and slower. Season 2 will come in October. Neon Genesis Evangalion is a good old school mecha anime from the 90's. The end of the story is a bit confusing and quite psychological. Maybe that’s why there’s a lot of discussion about it. Attack on Titan is an epic action/drama, but it is very-very hard (and bloody) too. I couldn’t watch it for the first time. The story is deep and there are lot of plot twists in it from season to season. It is a must see, however I may wait until they really finish it. Maybe Part 2 of the 3rd “Final” Chapter of the 4rd “Final” Season will be the last. :D

Bofuri. Light hearted anime you can finish in one night (:

Azumanga Daioh, now reappearing on HiDive. A complete series at 26 episodes, light comic strip fare (imagine if Charles Schulz wrote a Peanuts anime about HS schoolgirls), and reinvented anime comedy.

These are great options! I also think you would really like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Love these options, I'm going to have to say MHA, though I am a bit surprised that Sword Art Online isn't on there.

Honestly have not heard of most of them, much less seen. Rewatching Robotech season 1 at the moment, sci fi, romance, drama, comedy, has it all. More of a classic fan myself. Would like to see you react to this anime series. Series on YouTube free, not hard to find.

vkunia

I've watched all of Sword Art Online as soon as each season came out :)

vkunia

Hehe I wouldn't know, thats why I need to trust you guys with the power!!

vkunia

I appreciate that insight cause I don't know much about any of these anime! Helps me assess which are favorites :)

vkunia

I saw an Evangelion meme literally RIGHT before I started responding to your comment, the timing was perfect LOL

vkunia

I've noticed that with certain anime I've tried out in the past :(( thank you for a heads up about the second season 😊

vkunia

HEHE THIS IS SHOW POLL.. but you're right, maybe its time to jump into the movies again 👀

vkunia

!!! Thank you so much for the in depth explanation, I really like reading them because it helps me sort the different titles in my mind, what I should expect/prepare for :)

vkunia

I've heard that a lot as well!! I hear it's really heavy too, I have read some of the manga and seen some of the anime so I kind of have an idea of what it's about!

vkunia

I'll be sure to check it out then Ryan!! ty for recommendation :)

Ryan Cornett

Since there is nothing on the poll I have watched, I will just have to recommend some for next time. I again stick to the classic 80s of my childhood. Robotech all three seasons and the anime movie, Voltron 84 Lion ForceV. Vehicle force is just ok. Still waiting on good live action of both of these still in development

In that case, lol, NGE is fantastic but has been remade a lot. I watched the OG series when it came out. Its a deep show.I have no idea to the best version to watch though. Castlevania is great. There is a reason Netflix stuck it out for 3 seasons. Same goes for DOTA Dragon's Blood, 3 seasons on Netflix too. If you rank the Netflix animes, comparing everything to Arcane of course, lol, I would say both of are just right under Arcane for great Netflix animes. Attack on Titan is milking its fame imo, The first season is big, huge, well worth a reaction, seriously big impact. The later stuff is just unraveling the plot and more of trying to bank on that first season popularity. Then it had a spin off show with all the main characters as kids for some reason. Then more seasons and I'm not sure but I think the show finally ended this year. I honestly don't feel any urge to finish watching it. I watched a little of One-Punch man, its...okay. Felt like getting into One-Punch Man was going to be as fruitless as getting into One Piece. lol. A lot of filler episodes. Honestly surprised with NGE on this list there isn't also the Ghost in the Shell series. Both huge philosophical topics. Fooly Cooly (only 6 episodes) and Paranoid Agent (only 1 season) are great shows too. Real mind candy :)

I think you should give season 2 a try. Yes it’s not as good as season 1 but it does have its really good moments.
