I've never seen anyone dig so deep into the humanity of this show and why people do what they do. I know you're giving Season 1 a test run but after watching this ep... I'll see you on Season 2! :)

When I was 7-9 years old my grandma was sick with cancer, and sadly didn't survive. This episode really hits me each time. To this day I still remember being with her and my mom while she got chemo treatments (it's an IV drip). I believe Walt was getting an initial radiation treatment to help kill the cancer cells before he starts chemo.

I'm so happy you're enjoying the show! Can't wait for the next episode! 💎

The show will make you feel every emotion at one time or other. If you get invested (and that's the best way to enjoy it), these characters and stories will pull at your heartstrings in every direction.

You may not remember this but I once was asked what my favorite show was of all time in VC on your Discord. You were in there when I said that this show was the best I've ever seen from start to finish. There are no weak spots IMO. I'm glad you started this journey.

The whole intervention scene is so well done and makes you feel like you are in the room with them. This show has been said to be just as addicting as the product they cook and I think you are starting to feel that lol.

Completely agree. Although, I do think Better Call Saul is beautifully executed as well. I actually find it hard to choose between the two.

I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss Alex. Whether long time ago or not, that's a shattering experience to have to go through and I'm sorry for that :( and I see, that has to be it then

vkunia

I am... its unfair lmfao I started this not long ago and basically already done with the first season. 😭😭my brother had said the same thing, that it's going to become more and more difficult NOT to binge as seasons go on

Just to hit on that last part about you talking too much; I don't think you should ever worry about that. Unless you're talking so much that you feel yourself missing things, it's not a bother to the majority of us, I'm sure. If I wanted to watch something without you talking, I'd probably just watch it without your watchalong reaction playing simultaneously 🤷😂 I know you're gonna love the experience of watching the rest of this show. But I don't think that you'll be able to keep yourself from continuing on with it and not taking any breaks between seasons

Love meeko stealing the show and all of your talking! I’ve already seen the show, I want to know your thoughts on it. This was an emotional episode, where everyone puts (most of) their cards on the table. I don’t blame anyone for crying when hearing a family tell their husband/father that they don’t want to lose them. It’s such a big deal. Walt Jr has always had him supporting him and cheering him on through his struggles and doesn’t want to see him give up on himself. Skylar doesn’t want to lose the man she fell in love with when there’s a chance he could live. And I forget how much they went into this side of it, but his daughter would have to grow up without a father in her life (maybe a stepfather, but not Walt). All the things he won’t see her grow up to do(walk, talk, first day of school, graduation, get married, have children of her own), and he’s just willing to give all that up. I don’t disagree that he has good reasons too, especially if he’d only live 2 years max. And that is the tension this episode brings that makes it so emotional. There’s so much at stake.

MrAlexSan

Thank you. Both my mom and I loved this show because in a way it did bring back a sense of empowerment. You feel so helpless watching someone with cancer die, and this really countered those negative memories.

The show that keeps on giving. Love this! BB makes you cry (and other emotions) unexpectedly and often.

TinyGeist

I personally always lean more toward Walt's line of reasoning during the intervention scene, but of course 100% understand the other side as well. Such a horrible spot to be in for everyone. Love the reactions and looking forward to more!

I agree with marie, but walters pride is stupid

Ruben T. Armstrong

Crazy to think about this is rhe the beginning of the end.....no spoilers but Walt going back on his decision really sets the show on its path here.

It's far more complex than Skylar makes out. Ofc from an emotional standpoint she doesn't want him to die. But this is Walters life, it's his decision to make. Should Walt really have to stay alive for his family, just to be in constant pain for the rest of his short life. First and only good point Marie has made
