I'm kinda curious after this collaboration with the wonderful Mary is it something you are hoping to do more of in the future? One with Natalie gold or Jen Murray would be fantastic 🙌 I've only so far watched the first 15 mins but you and Mary gel really well 🎉 Lola and myko collaboration next ? 😸

Hello Miss V. I am adding you as my 2nd Patreon reactor I am supporting. I came here from Natalie Gold's channel (I see you sub to her as well!) and I see a lot of what I like Natlie for in you. The big smiles and laughs. The crying your makeup off. The big eyes and big gasps at tweeeests and shocking moments of realization! Natalie has been busy lately, so I am going to be going through your library of reactions (already binged your Arcane reaction) to fill in spaces. I wish nothing but the best for you! You seem so nice.

This is so cool. I watch you both so this is a double treat for me! There is so much emotion to this movie and you both go along with it so nicely.

I've been waiting for a reaction to this one for a long time. Was worried at first when I read there was a collaboration (because I'm here for the one I've grown to like, not mystery guests), but Mary is awesome too, so that's a relief. But the movie... so much fun with the love/hate aspect and plenty of laughs and cries. A shame about the racism, but... It's not going to turn me racist for watching it. And it's way toned down compared to the novel. Anyway... bring on the full-length! I wonder where you got your version though... I have it on DVD, but might rather try to stream it if I can get the same source.

Vee: "It's been remastered as is in color?" Gone with the Wind lovers, Film students and filmmakers alike: "Always has been."

Hooray! I like it when Youtubers I watch get together and make Youtube videos together so I can watch them.

To answer a couple of the early questions... :) GONE WITH THE WIND was always in color. Filming in color was very expensive in the 1930s, but it was used on a number of films (such as THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD and of course THE WIZARD OF OZ). GWTW was one of the most expensive movies ever made up to that point, so they sprang for the color. :) As for the Overture and Intermission, this became a common thing for longer films, particularly later in the 1950s and 60s (GWTW might have been one of the first examples). They were first released as "roadshow" presentations, opening in bigger cities at the fancier theaters, and treated almost like live shows, before later being released wider to the "neighborhood theaters." The "Overture" was usually played as people were walking into the theater, and there would be an intermission about halfway through (studios respected people's bladders a bit more back then). TV airings usually cut all this, but they've normally been included in the home media releases.
