My absolute favourite Robin Williams movie is BICENTENNIAL MAN it’s a movie that’s get overlooked and that a crime it will take you on a journey of every conceivable emotion, and ironically is a story of humanity.

To answer your question. All of the on-air radio scenes where 100% improve. The director just told him to go crazy. They filmed him for hours just being Robin Williams and edited it down to the very best bits for the movie. You were correct that the scene with him talking to the troops in the trucks was also improve. He was a comedic genius that will never be duplicated (IMHO).
