I think you will really enjoy this show. It has far reaching consequences for the MCU going forward. And no, I don't think you talk to much. That's what I'm here for, to hear your opinion on these shows.

It's great that you're so engaged!

SOOOO been looking forward to your reaction to Loki, lol. This is gonna be fun. The TVA exists outside of time so its not 2012 here in the TVA.

Dioskur

"He's so hot right now!" Perfection :)

Yeah there's really cool concepts here. The idea of free will and choice, and predetermined choices that we might call "destiny". I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on those cause this show is the perfect spot for that. But these things are a huge thing for the whole MCU. They say everything the Avengers did in Endgame was meant to happen. Meaning, even Thanos was supposed to happen? That's crazy to think about. And they're tackling the Multiverse. A huge thing that is very important in Marvel as well. Things are changing big time. The first three phases were called the Infinity Saga, surrounding the Infinity Stones. Phases 4, 5, and 6 are called the Multiverse Saga. Be ready V!

Hehe yay! Thanks for the insight that threw me off a bit.... then why such outdated decor LOL

TJ Bigelow

Its suppose to give you that soul crushing feeling of governmental oversight style; bureaucracies with a soviet socialism art and sets styled in Modernist Brutalism. This style reflects the ideal utopia of a regulated society. Bland, a bit 70's beige, mixed with the ideal of socialist society governed by a triumvirate ruling body rather than a democracy. Think of an agency that dictates fate/destiny/chance all into one timeline. Everything MUST happen the same predetermined way, over and over, rather than allow chance and fate and destiny to happen, thus creating multiple timelines with numerous possibilities and realities. The regulators of that solitary timeline would need to be very strict but fair, logical and pragmatic but also have equality. That sort of comes out as socialist idealism, so the art style is a mix of Neo-Futurist/Brutalism with Soviet Socialism. Future and past blending with the peak versions of those fashion trends in human history.

TJ Bigelow

So the Infinity Stones is a great clue about the TVA. A variant uses a stone or has a stone on them when the TVA shows up to fix the timeline. That variant is taken into custody along with the stone. The stone becomes inert, why? Because the the stone has been removed from its universe.

You may want to pay attention to the credits themselves of this show.(doesn't need to be on camera) They are very good at giving and teasing very well placed yet not too revealing hints about the nature and future of the show and kind of how the TVA works. They're kind of their own teasers about the next episode and help a lot in small important details of how the logic of timekeeping work that one may have missed during the episode. I DEFINITELY misunderstood a few things during a few episodes my first watch.

Lorenzo Baxter

Actually, there's another big reason why the stones don't work but this place is beyond they universe. It's like a pocket dimension. Not a part of the Multiverse but more watching from afar.

Robert Reichle

Yes, definitely keep looking for end credits scenes every episode. When there is one, you'll be very glad it's there!

vkunia

I check and after the episode I make sure to look up whether to expect an end credits scene for the next episode! :)

Velinion

I know there is a post-credits scene in Ep 4 and the final episode, might be more. Keep checking.

Don't think you need to worry about sounding overbearing or too talkative. Its great that you're so enthusiastic about it. There's a ton of little gems in this show. (Casey having no idea what a fish is for instance, haha.) Lots of twists and turns. The aesthetic for the show is great too. Its very pretty.
