Hihihi!!!! SO...... a LOT happened in episode 4 of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier..... I really don't want to spoil the ending for those of you who have not yet watched it but omg.... it took a dark turn I really didn't expect, and with how the story and characters are twisting, the pacing, all of it - I have to say this is my favorite episode so far! I really hope it keeps gaining traction like this:)  Thanks for watching friends!!!! See you all in the next episode!

First thing Steve Rodgers said before he was made into a super soldier in "the first avenger" Dr Erskine: "So, do you want to kill Nazis Steve: "I dont want to kill anyone, I dont like bullies Dr Erskine: "when you take the serum, I want you to remember who you are. Not a perfect soldier, but a good man. That is what the defining feature Steve had vs This new cap. Great soldier, not a good man.

John isn't a bad man though. That's the only kink. The only part that sticks is Cap is a good man, and John is a great soldier. But that doesnt make him what people would define as bad.

Also, the serum does amplify everything inside. It was confirmed in the first Captain America movie. And honestly I think power does do that. It enhances qualities in a person. It's not just "Yum, power hungry I'm evil" being strong..... just generally feels good. It feels good to have power over others. Thats a dark thing to be sure, but its something I think nearly everyone struggles with. For one reason or another, there's always something a person can use to justify them being powerful. It doesn't make them evil to feel that dark pull. Evil is a thing you do. Once you cross the line of hurting others to benefit yourself, that's when I'd say you go into evil territory. John Walker isn't evil. As we've heard, he's been through some heavily traumatic stuff. He's killed people, in most likely gruesome ways, and then was thanked for it. That will take a huge toll on anyone. It makes sense that he held on so tightly to being Captain America. He can do real good with it. But no one would listen to or even respect him in any way. So he started getting petty, demanding respect, acting arrogant. Then he watched his best friend being killed in front of his eyes. Yeah that's gonna put him back in the wartorn, murderous soldier mode he spent years training in. He wasn't thinking when he killed the Flag Smasher. But as a publicly anointed superhero.... you cant be doing that lol 😅 Also there's end credit scenes for the last two episodes. 5 and 6 so be on the lookout for that.
