Annnnnd here's Spider-Man 2!! I LOVEDDDD THIS MOVIE SO MUCH. It's usually extremely hard for a sequel to be as good or even nearly as good as the first movie (when it was a super popular movie) so seeing this makes me so happy. I enjoyed it SO MUCH and I really really hope you guys enjoy it with me, It was a alot of fun and I can't wait for the third :)

So to answer some of your questions VKunia, which will also explain your confusion about why some people dont like the Tobey Maquire movies, why does Spiderman lose his powers? Doc Oc actually hinted at this with his talk of how love that is surpressed and kept inside can make you sick, Peter lost his powers because he was having doubts and felt split between being Spiderman and wanting to have a normal life and pursue MJ as his true love. This is one of the reasons that people dont like what Sam Raimi did with his trilogy and the fact that he admitted he didnt really read up on the lore or the comic books made many feel like he didn't know what he was doing, Peter losing his power over love/heartache is one of them, originally in the lore when Spiderman started to lose his power it was because they were starting to mutate and change and was the beginning of Peter/spiderman turning into the Spider abonimation/monster where he trows four extra arms out of his body and has to try and find a way to stabilize his powers and his DNA to avoid becoming a feral monster, so when people saw this movie in Theaters and saw him losing his powers they thought they were gonna see the infamous Spider-monster, instead they got. ''Oh he has heartache and wants a normal life'' The reason Doc Oc wanting to built his machine again was not that he wanted to give the world new renewable energy, but the arms that had taken over his mind wanted to prove that it did work. (in other words hurt pride and wanting to prove the world wrong basically) It was mentioned in the movie, the reason the arms do not melt like the other metal parts by the artificial sun is that they are constructed in a way tha makes them resistant to both heat and magnetism which allowed them to handle the sun. (in real life no metal can be made to resist touching a sun or make them 100% resistance to magnetism but you can make certain metal resistance to heat and magnetism up to a certain level)

Vee, I know this is a couple months old, but you havnt seen the andrew garfield spiderman movies have you? All i got to say is get tissues ready for when you get there, he is the saddest one, and does a great performance as spiderman. He may not be your fav just on principle with Tobey but Garfield isnt at all something to scoff at. He does spiderman justice.
