Hey everyone!! Daredevil Episode 4: In the Blood here! So we officially meet Wilson Fisk and he is... not the type of villain I thought he would be, he seems insecure at times and sort of sensitive when it comes to social matters but professionally... uhh.... lets just say he's VERY different. He is quite terrifying when he's mad and honestly I'm scared of him and his ruthlessness after this episode. There's nothing he won't do I believe.

But I can't wait to see more of him and we'll see how he progresses as a villain :) Thanks for watching guys!!

Marvel did run DD directly. Marvel Television, but still Marvel and, yes, still Disney. Netflix only DISTRIBUTED these shows. They didn't make them. Marvel Television (Who also made Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD and Runaways) made them, and they were just as much Marvel as Studios is, unlike say the Fox and Sony Marvel films where no Marvel company had any more than a minor advisor role.

Yes! Been looking forward to this since I decided I was just going to watch this whole series as you watch it. The first three episodes were so good, can't wait to see what happens next

JayF

Yes, there should be subtitles. Nattie Gold had the same issue. She was using Disney + to watch and finally figured something out to make them show up.

Lorenzo Baxter

Damn I tried to warn you, for this episode you should've turned off the normal subtitles and that actually fixes the issue. Maybe rewatch those language scenes (off camera of course) just so some contexts make more sense cause yeah this episode is just broken with the subtitles. I believe it works normally for the rest of the show

Also Wilson really wasn't that bad with women. I mean some women find it charming, but really he was visibly nervous. I love that they showed him being so vulnerable with her, it shows a cool level of humanity. But of course the infamous car scene 🤯 shows some real unstable rage in him too 😳 Vincent D'nofrio plays Fisk so damn well.

The superheroes and villains in the netflix-to-disney shows are mostly brawlers. Wilson Fisk is one of the most dangerous, not only for being big, thick, physically dense, and mostly shrugs off most blows (pretty much doesn't care to dodge or block ever, lol); he is smart and has a lot power over the city. He plans ahead and always keeps aiming for higher and higher positions of status and control. Vincent is amazing in the role.

Closed Captioning for some reason hides the subtitles for the other languages. Watch it with "English (CC)" turned off.

minuteforce

Maybe when you do the YouTube cut for this, you could go back and catch all the subtitles you missed during the Russian conversations

Patrick Egan

Yeah, Disney+ screwed up the subtitles when they brought the show over from Netflix

Vidal (BillyG!) Gomez jr

If you're watching DD on Disney+, I recommend you activate the CC and that should translate it for you. Love your reactions and all the best at your new residence.

Patrick Egan

The subtitles are broken on Disney+. If you turn on English CC, the Russian translations won't appear. I believe you have to turn subtitles OFF, yes it's weird.

Narutoanime16

Fisk is terrifying can't wait to see what you think of both him and Matt by the end. and yea the subtitles for the russians is weird if you turn off subtitles there dialgoue pops up

Joseph Moody

Subtitles have been fixed. DD is a great show, and better than a lot of properties Marvel has run directly.
