Hey guys!! So here is the long awaited (and highly controversial on patreon.. im looking at you guys) movie, Superman (1978)!!  
I actually had fun watching this movie and liked it a lot. I didn't realize it would be so much fun and this good of a film! No wonder it's a classic:) Granted its special effects are outdated but its almost a 45 year old movie so in the grand scheme of things; it held up very well!! I hope you guys enjoy!!

Since you liked this one so much for it's comic book-like feel, and since you were wondering whatever happened to those three from act 1 who got trapped in space-glass; you should watch Superman II as well, but not the Richard Donner Cut. The Donner Cut drops a lot of it's comic book charm.

I saw this film in the theater back in 1978 and while the flying may be quaint today back then nothing like this was seen before and it convincingly made you believe a man could fly, the tag line, which was incredible. Remember with no cgi it was all practical and models. The helicopter sequence is incredible when you think a full sized chopper or mock up was made and moved the way it was. Also as the flying wires could not be digitally removed so I believe they hand painted them out on the master film one frame at a time when they were used and as there are 24 frames per second that is a daunting task.
