Iron Man 2 is exactly what you would've expected from an Iron Man movie - but more. There was plenty of action, comedy, and conflict. And I feel like they really amped up the action (HELLO BLACK WIDOW KICK BUTT SCENE) and went more "all out".  You laughed, you worried for Tony and other individuals' wellbeing and feared the worst outcome. Obviously plenty of sarcasm (gotta love it, its what makes Iron Man what it is) and I feel like rather than more character building which seemed to be the primary focus of the first one, Iron Man 2 focused on story building and integration of new characters as well as introduction to S.H.I.E.L.D. I love Tony the more I see him and I need more

Thank you everyone!! I hope you guys have fun watching the reaction, as much as I did making it :)

The thumbnail says "tony Starch" not "Stark" Unless that was intentional, made me giggle. xD

Fear not, Iron Man will return. But now you have to watch the short called "The Consultant". Apparently, the original actor for Rhodey did not get along with RDJ. That was Kate Mara delivering the subpoena. I thought she looked familiar. This one starts a common Marvel pattern of having the major threat (Vanko) and a lesser threat that's often more an annoyance (Hammer). I was about to say the first one did that, but then I realized that was more a red herring, they made us think the terrorist was the villain but then it turned out he was a pawn for Obadiah. Oh, and this also marks the first appearance of Peter Parker; the kid wearing the Iron Man mask. Are you sure it wasn't Avengers you saw? Was Iron Man the main character of it?

Behold the debut of one the most badass female superhero, Black Widow! 🕷

Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, Vee got the after credit scene. 😂😂😂👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗 And of course very nice review and the red Iron Man room was really stylish. 😊

In case you're not aware, before you go off using the "drop your socks and grab your crocs", know that it is a movie-friendly play on the phrase "drop your cocks and grab your socks", which basically just means "stop jerking off and get busy". If you watch enough movies, you'll probably hear it again - for example, it is sometimes used in movies showing military boot camp back when hazing was still allowed (and encouraged). Prime example would be "Full Metal Jacket"

Loved the review. Watching you react to shows and movies has been the closest I've come to getting to watch them again for the first time. I got as hyped over Mjolnir this time as I did when I saw it in theater's.. Can't wait for Thor. Not the best MCU movie, but it has always been one of my guilty pleasures. Thor 2 is probably the worst MCU movie, but Thor 3 is probably the best none Avengers movie. Thor and Loki bring a lot to the MCU.

This was so much fun to watch with you! My general suggestion for all of the MCU movies going forward would be just to wait till all of the credits are done, since a lot of the movies have more than one mid/end-credit scene. I think Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has the most with four.

V you almost stopped before the end credit scene we all told you was there, trust us! Lol some films have 2 extra scenes as well, I will gladly sit through every credits scene with you talking or just sitting in silence :) Oh yeah, I loved the reaction, Tony is my favorite character too!

The fact you seem to cheer for the "chair force" when they make a appearance in both films so far, sparks my ingrained friendly rivalry and makes me laugh.

The reason Terrance Howard did not play Rhodes in part 2 is because of the success of Iron Man 1. They decided to give RDJ a pay raise for part 2. Only they gave Howard a pay cut, taking the money from him and giving it to RDJ. That wasn't the deal he made, according to Howard. So he bounced. Howard was very upset that RDJ did not come to his defense. He just took the money. Again this is according to Howard. There is no word from RDJ or Marvel Studios.

Sean Novack

There are other stories that it was Howard's behavior on set that did him in. Don Cheadle was better in the role anyway!

Don't worry, I also remembered this film as another Iron Man film lol And just realizing as I was watching this, our military did end up going with drones after all.

I’m so surprised at how good these first Marvel movies have been! This one looked like it was filmed in Queens, the LiE had correct amount of lanes, Shea’s side parking lot looked real. And notice how many extras and secondary actors are in the background, went from a cast of 100s to now it’s just like 10 people, 10-20 people.

Now that you’ve seen Ironman 2, I recommend checking out “The Consultant” One-Shot on Vimeo or Dailymotion. You’ll remember Fury telling Tony they only wanted to use him as a consultant, well, this gives the end credit scene in Hulk some much needed context. I’d follow that with “A funny thing happened on the way to Thor’s Hammer”, and recommend, from here on, you keep an ear out for other one-shots in Phase 1 and 2. There aren’t many, they really didn’t last long, but they’re worth checking out in chronological order along with the movies.
