I'm getting a huge influx of movie recommendations so it's a bit difficult to keep up with them while letting other movies on the polls get a chance so I apologize if you don't see your recommendation on this pol and thank you for being patient friends!! :)

On that note - I've been getting a lot of recommendations in dms and would prefer if we can keep movie recommendations in the comment section of the polls so it makes it a bit easier to organize for me!! 🤗❤️

Thank you for all of the *awesome* horror recommendations and I will be putting them in a big ol Spoop-tober Horror Poll!!! IT'S COMIN UP QUICK SO BE READY 🤗❗️

** Be sure to throw in all your favorites and recommendations! 😊so I will incorporate some more options and change it up a bit! I will be adding more and changing the poll up for the next week based off of what you guys recommend!

Thank you and I hope you guys pick something awesome - you guys have yet to disappoint! Keep up the good work~ 🌸✨

This poll is FULL of bangers. We got some people with good taste on this Patreon!

Kelvin

Henlo lol. A selection that seem all on the same level hard to choose

Matt

Hoping for Nice Guys

Matt

Shanghai knights is a sequel to Shanghai Noon just incase you haven't seen that one yet

Robert Jewell

AMERICAN GRAFFITI, George Lucas' best film.

tom

Goodfellas is by far the most "classic film" option on here. Iconic scenes, characters and lines. You can't go through life not having seen it 🙂

Flukemarm

Oh dang I guess that means you've already seen Shanghai Noon. You'll love The Nice Guys if you get to it!

Anonymous

Hopefully "Prince of Egypt (1998)" is still a contender in the upcoming polls.

Anonymous

Nice Guys is genuinely one of my favourite movies, even though I've seen it a couple times, after each time I'm sore from laughing. Hope it gets chosen if not this time but another!

Anonymous

If you watch Shanghai Knights, you have to watch Shanghai Noon first.

Caleb Harvey

The Hobbit (extended version) Narnia Sister act Ghost Bodyguard (Whitney Houston) Prince of Egypt Sound of music Chitty Chitty bang bang Night at the museum Magnificent seven 2016

Dale Diaz

Yeah pretty weird that shanghai noon isn't here lol. probably just didn't know

Tiger Chu

Big Trouble in Little China

Anonymous

Some other John Carpenter films I'd suggest are, The Thing (good for next month) and They Live (one of the best knock down, drag out fist fights on film)

David Crabtree

Transformers the Movie! One of the all time great animated films!

Sean Novack

And. The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai: Across the 8th Dimension!

Bryan Tuck

Nice eclectic list here! :) A couple of things - I'm probably in the minority, but if you watch "Leon: The Professional," I'd actually recommend the shorter theatrical cut (just called "The Professional" in the US). The extended version drags the pace down and things get weirder than they really should, and even the director has stated he doesn't have a preference between the two. I HATE to be "that guy," but "Superman" came out in 1978, not 1979. :) It's basically the prototype for the modern big-budget superhero movie, so it'd be fun to see your reaction!

benjamin freeman

Shanghai NOON!!! not knights!! lol knights is the sequel and not as good! would hate for you to watch the sequel first!

Bruce Bromley

Leon? A decent enough film, but I think most of those that voted for that either want to see you cringe, cry or both

Eric Janssen

Nobody GETS to watch Leon if they haven't seen the (ahem) '78 Superman first. You can watch The Last Dragon without having seen Enter the Dragon first, but this rule isn't as strict.

Chris Lüders

Oh, I wanted to edit the post and not delete it. 😯 Well I think, Vicky will like The Breakfast Club (since it seems to win the poll). 😊

Bill Woods

_October Sky_ in October. _Casablanca_ in December. Original _True Grit_.

Heavenly Creatures is an underrated gem from Peter Jackson. Glad to see it on the list, although I can’t see it getting many votes :(

vlocke67

did you already watch shanghai noon? shanghai knights is the sequel

Sir_Dalagad

There are some great movies in this poll. Suggesting one more: Say Anything A 1989 high school film with John Cusack, Ione Skye, and Lili Taylor

Anonymous

people saying that you should watch the censored version of Leon are just prudes (American probably), you re a grown up and intelligent person, watch the European version (as some reactors already did on Youtube and it was fine) and you ll see by yourself :)

Checo Lara

hope you would react to Goodfellas, Superman 78 and Leon the Profesional as well, those are very good movies

Checo Lara

My recommendations are; -True Romance (1993) directed by Tony Scott and written by Quentin Tarantino -The Frighteners (1996) -Tigers are not Afraid (2017) -RoboCop (1987) -Donnie Darko -Chungking Express (1994) one of Tarantino's favorite asian movies

Bryan Tuck

The shorter version isn't "censored." That was the cut that was initially released in Europe, too. The extended version didn't come out until a couple of years later. I thought I remembered reading that Besson didn't have a preference, but now I can't find the interview, so I may have been wrong about that.

Donnie Darko is one of those movies that makes for great conversations if you watch it with someone.

Jesse Darty

You should totally do some spooky scary movies for Halloween. Ever seen the old Evil Dead? It's freaking nuts.

2021-12-02 17:01:22 Here are some recommendations for you that I think won't get mentioned that often: - Black Rain (1989) - The Martian (2015) - Lucky Number Slevin (2006) - Interview with the Vampire (1994) - The last of the Mohicans (1992) - Chariots of Fire (1981) - Hero (2002) - Bullitt (1968) - Dead Poets Society (1989) - Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) - The Blues Brothers (1980) - Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987) - Lawrence of Arabia (1962) - Big (1988) - Dances with Wolves (1990) - Stardust (2007) - Philadelphia (1993) - 12 Angry Men (1957) - Braveheart (1995) - Gettysburg (1993) - Monty Python's Life of Brian (1979) - The Name of the Rose (1986) - Master and Commander - The Far Side of the World (2007) - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) - The Untouchables (1987) - Once upon a time in the West (1968) - The Magnificent Seven (1960) -> not the remake, since it's 💩 - Good Will Hunting (1997) (to be continued)... ... and of course like every time Operation Petticoat (1959) as well as The Hobbit Trilogy because you liked the landscape, the characters and the ambience so much and I think you will have this again. No matter what everyone says, the films are better than 90% of all the other films.
