Here it is guys! Star Wars Episode 9.. the final star wars. A lot of people have urged me to not watch the sequel trilogy but I'm honestly glad I did, even if they aren't to compare to the other trilogies, they were still worth it in my eyes. I really thought I would hate the sequels, but I didn't, and actually really enjoyed episode 7&9 more than I thought I would!

Thank you guys for joining me on my Star Wars journey, I didn't realize how much I loved the universe until I got immersed in it. Now I'm so heavily tied to these characters it hurts to see anything happen to them LOL it feels like I was missing this part of my life and I can safely call myself a Star Wars fan. Thank you guys for exposing me to Star Wars and I hope you guys enjoyed the ride with me!! It was definitely wild at times LOL

But in the end you guys were right. I did love it❤

Hooray! I love that you loved the Sequel Trilogy! There are many who dislike them, but in my experience, there are many old fans (like myself) that love them. Not to mention all the new Star Wars fans that the Sequels Trilogy created. The Prequel Trilogy (Ep 1-3) had a lot of hate when they were released, but now they are sacred by most SW fans, especially as more content, books, TV shows was created to fill in that era to make it richer. I'm a new patron, and I love your content. I came from your TikTok, to your YouTube, and now to here. Please keep it going!

Now it's time to move on to Clone Wars and Rebels which are arguably better than any of the prequels or sequels, especially the further along you go.

I am a fan of this trilogy! I'm glad you enjoyed it as well!

Well Vee, remember when I told you we shared the same tastes in movies ? I was right by telling you that you'd like the sequel trilogy ! (you might want to check my few suggestions on discord) Thank you so much for this Star Wars Journey, it was amazing seeing your reactions !

First time I couldn’t finish, had quit. love the channel but no. these Disney movies are all trash,. And there are no sets, it’s all green screens, it’s all CG. At least it’s over and done. Mandalorian does have sets.

Alternate ending: Rey submits to palpatine and kills him then kylo and rey have to fight from the sides they were each previously on. Kylo's character was hands down the best though.

Flukemarm

"Who did Palpatine mate with?" was a fun question that led to lots of fan theories, but some Star Wars book made it canon that his "son" was actually a test tube clone baby.

And Finn wanted to tell Rey that he is force sensitive! He "had a feeling" that the beacon was on the main ship, and then he sensed when Rey died.

V, glad you enjoyed all the trilogies for what they were, escapists entertainment. Being a new fan certainly helps for you. It's been with me since I was 13 and now I'm 57. There have certainly been some missteps in the final trilogy, but that's what happens when the suits have more say than the fans.

I think the biggest mistake they made was have a great team of writers, write the three films *cough*Filoni*cough* and then have different directors for each one. That way the story wouldn't get out of hand and all that. That said, I really enjoyed a lot of the symbolism for Episode 8 and what Johnson was trying to do. I don't think he subverted expectations, for the sake of subverting expectations, but he wanted to elevate Star Wars to something else and different. Which one could argue isn't needed. I hate the narative that J.J. was correcting what Johnson ruined. Sure, there is probably some truth to it, but why is THAT the first thing we think is happening, instead of the character learning from their mistakes and accepting that they were wrong. Mistakes make us human, and no one is perfect. Idk, there is def a lot of interesting discussion about the new trilogy.

Yaaay. glad you enjoyed. this was one of only 2 star wars films i didnt like at first viewing, the other being Solo. But still its been a wild ride seeing new star wars movies =)

I'm glad that you enjoyed it as much as I did. Good to know I'm not alone. "Be with me"

Just remember that almost all the hate that this trilogy gets is a very small loud minority of people. Almost every poll I’ve seen since they came out of “what’s the best SW movie”, from fan sites to big national publications, episodes 7 and 8 have been in the top 5 of general audiences favorites. Episode 8 is my favorite of all the films actually and I love all three sequel movies. The loudest voices are always the ones of hate, in any fandom. Haters of the sequels will literally go looking for videos to tell people not to watch them and generally just want to keep people from seeing them for themselves so they can’t be proven wrong. So just keep that in mind going forward for anything you watch

WHAT?! This trilogy was majority on location or built sets. The prequels were the ones that were mostly green/blue screen.

So if we were in Star Wars u would be rooting for the empire cause the empire is so good, “look, nobody complains about The Empire, everyone loves it, it’s just a small band of stupid hater rebels that don’t like it”. If we were in V for Vendetta u would be supporting a corrupt government. Do u not know how much Disney influences reviews and polls, specially from big publications? Even Disney and their actors have admitted one way or another the sequels are crap. “The loudest voices are always the ones of hate”, really? Go watch Braveheart! Don’t get me wrong, if u enjoy your movies go ahead, love them all u like, comment about them all day long, that’s perfectly fine. Your assessment about why and who are the people who hate these movies and how polls and media work, that’s completely upside down. )

If you liked this movie, you should definitely watch and react the 1986 animated film, Transformers: The Movie.

Yes I did enjoy the films for the good. 7 especially, and 9 was totally random but I knew what I was in for and had fun. I did like (though short) the planet under military lockdown, and some of the great scenery and sequences. The Last Jedi did drive the spike in my soul as a fan of Star Wars lore (especially when I got home and had the evening to ponder). But again, some of the cinematography was brilliant and past a little confusion, I did enjoy the premiere cinema viewing of 8.

A movie with a happy love story Adam Driver is in is PATERSON 2016

Parts of this movie appear to have been inspired by the comic "Dark Empire", namely a reborn Palpatine and star destroyers with planet-killing weapons. Really you ought to check out the old Legends timeline from the 90s and early 2000s. That was when Start Wars fever really hit prior to the release of the prequels. And if you were upset by Palpatine coming back here, he comes back multiples times in Legends. That old guy on Kajimi, with the eyepiece, the one you said was scary? His name is Oma Tres, which is an anagram of maestro. This is John Williams' one and only on-screen appearance. This gives a new perspective on the whole "Strike me down with all of your hatred" thing in Return of the Jedi, doesn't it?

Hello V ! 😊 It was a really nice and lovely journey with you while watching the Star Wars films, and I hope we will do many more trips together. It was nice to see that all the twists and turns in all of these films were as much a roller coaster ride for you as they were for me when I saw them for the first time. 😉 All in all I can only say that the whole Skywalker Saga had a satisfying ending with Episode IX. I have to admit that I didn't (and still don't) like Episode VIII and my concern was that Episode IX would be similar to Episode VIII. Fortunately, that was absolutely not the case. So my conclusion to the whole Saga is, of course the original trilogy is the best of the three trilogies since it's nearly flawless. The others have their weaknesses (Ep I & Ep VIII are 'weak', Ep II and VII are 'average') compared to Ep IV to VI. But of course that's a really high benchmark. Compared to other films of the last 20 years, every Star Wars film is better than 90% of the films, even Ep I and VIII. 😊 Therefore, I am already looking forward to the next journeys and adventures with you. So stay safe and sound or as the ordinary Jedi would say - May the Force be with you. 😎😊

anyone who would say avoid this or these episodes is a fake and should be ignored period.

so much better then #8 .thank you JJ

Movie was pretty legit, the one big problem i have is that this is the end of this third saga. climax then 2 minutes of smiles and then credits. I really wish they added an actual ending beyond just hugs.
