Hey guys.. here we are. We finished Cowboy Bebop (excluding the movie) and I could not explain why it hit SO hard. I did not expect what happened to happen and... the series itself ending was one of the reasons I held off on finishing it for so long. It left a hole in my heart and I am thoroughly sad that it has ended. I think about how Jet and Faye are doing after, where Edward is and it makes me so sad that this is how the show had to end. I thought theyd all live happily ever after but that was a bit of wishful thinking :(

thank you guys for sticking with me to finish Cowboy Bebop.. and yes, I'm gonna carry that weight

I still can't believe it's been 23 years since this first aired. Damn amazing show.

I think watching the movie after is the best way to enjoy the world and characters. If you had watched it before, you're left with the same emptiness, but this gives you one last good ride with all your favorite characters. Plus the movie's animation is soooo good. It's hard to me to go from the show, to the movie, to the show after seeing the animation in the film. I think you'll love watching the movie, even if it wasn't in timeline order. It's so much fun, regardless of the events that take place later.

When you said you didn't have tissues ready in the beginning of Part I, I was like "bruh..."

So darned cute. :) You kill me with your reaction.

The ending line "Your gonna carry that weight is perfect" those who completed Cowboy Bebop carry the weight of the character their journey and stories. Masterful series thanks for sharing your reactions with us. : )

Hi VKunia.. now Bebob has finished. Do you know what is going to replace it.. Or still searching.. and does it need to be short or a long show?? Greetings Raymond.

Thanks for sharing your reaction. Yes, I too like Cowboy Bebop. The series originally ended more than 20 years ago, but still, I sometimes watch my favorite episodes repeatedly. If you're looking for another beautiful (and sad) story, I recommend you to watch "Crying Out Love in the Center of the World" (Sekai no Chushin de, Ai o Sakebu) (2004,) if there's English subbed or dubbed one.

If you're going to get back on the anime horse, I would say now is a good time to look up "Project A-Ko". After the Bebop finale, you'll NEED it. :)

Welcome to the heartbroken club, now carry the weight with us!

welp, welcome to this side of the fence. at the very least you are not alone holding your broken heart in your hands

I was heartbroken after watching the finale on Adult Swim 16-17 years ago. Even now I still get teary-eyed at the end of Hard Luck Woman and Real Folk Blues. So glad you shared your experience with all of us!

It's always heartbreaking to see you cry but now you know how it ended. Definitely one of my favorite series all time for all the feeling and special moments we get throughout... Thank you so much for sharing these reactions for us! I can't wait to watch the movie again, it was so long ago I barely remember it. And of course, can't wait to see what will come next :)

You're gonna carry that weight. Give the ending song a listen with the context of the episode! Lyrics are so powerful.

But that's why it's good to have the movie still to watch! Cowboy Bebop don't hold back in this last ep.

I don't know how many comments you read but I figured i'd throw this out anyway. A lot of us got introduced to this show many years ago on Adult Swim, 15+ years for me since I first saw it. For a long time I couldn't bring myself to rewatch the final episodes, but eventually I accepted the whole experience and i've seen it complete through many times in the years since. It still hurts, but in a good way. A way that you appreciate that something can still have that effect on you. By the way, this will often be recommended as a follow up but the next show the director of this series worked on, Samurai Champloo, is also highly regarded for many of the same reasons. It's very similar to Cowboy Bebop but also very different in significant ways, however they carry the same emotional weight with a small cast of characters you really grow to care about (and an episodic narrative,) I highly reccommend seeing it some day.

Hi Vicky. Raymond here. So Bebob has finished.. and i go a few Anime you might like. So.. here we go. "Violet Evergarden (13 Episodes)" "Anohana (11 Episodes)" "Banana Fish (24 Episodes)" "Made in Abyss (13 Episodes) Greetings Raymond..

I'd love to see a reaction to Transformers: The Movie.

Ever seen the mini series "The Maxx"? It's pretty sweet. Quick though. It's a real mind trip though. It's based on a Comic from the early 90s. Kinda dark stuff.

I can definitely vouch for Violet Evergarden as well, it's a very good one. Can't comment on any of the other ones though.

You made it! There truly is no show like Cowboy Bebop out there. It's so beautiful and heartbreaking and the characters are just amazing. Yet everything is so vague on the surface...so crazy how they did that. In my head Spike lives lol but even in cannon, I like to think it's still happy because he got his answers. You should try Samurai Champloo next! Same creator, also so beautiful, but a little more upbeat. Not as tragic, I think you'll like it! P.S. You can fill the emptiness with plenty of fanart and fanworks online! It's worked for me lol and the movie will definitely help. We don't have to linger on the ending~
