Hi everyone! Hope everyone is having a nice relaxing Sunday ☺️

I noticed since we’ve stayed within the same few genres.. I’d love to hear recommendations for films you’d like me to see!! Preferably ones that either aren’t on the polls/or a different genre than we’re used to doing. 😇

I don’t want us to ONLY stick to a select few genres - I wanna explore other options!! :)

So hit me with your favorite film recommendations, ones you think I’d either really love or you’d really love for me to see LOL and I’ll pick a random film you recommend - and do it!!

Thank you all for everything. I appreciate you so much and can’t wait to see what you guys suggest. 🥰🌸✨

For Movie Reactions, I recommend: Gossford Park - and ensemble mystery period movie, set in a grand English manor in the early 20th century. Written by the guy who wrote the Downton Abbey show. Insomnia - Murder Mystery set in Alaska, starring Al Pacino and Robin Williams (in a terrific non-comedic role). The Informant - a "based on real story" that is almost too weird to believe. Starring Matt Damon, and a *bunch* of stand up comedians in (mostly) small non-comedic roles. Very fun.

Dumb and Dumber (if you haven’t seen it, I didn’t see it on here), Jackass(after Borat, it’s a good next step, just have a bucket ready), Ghostbusters, The Fast and the Furious, and The Godfather. I know this is for movie recommendations, as you have a lot of series going right now, but when you finish better call Saul or the boys, I recommend LOST and/or Dexter. They’re both really good overall, although they certainly have polarizing endings.

One that baffles me is that for all the love of Korean film on Youtube, few people have watched the most famous and beloved of them all: Oldboy (also sitting pretty in IMDB's top 100). Especially for those who are fans of Tarantino.

For Vkunime, there are still a lot of widely worshipped, big-budget, highly experimental masterworks from the golden age of anime theatrical film that you haven't seen, like Wings Of Honneamise (1987) Memories (1995) and Jin-Roh (1999). There's nothing else like them.
