Every time Vincent is in the bathroom there's trouble waiting outside for him

Ass watch!?🤣 Loved your reaction!!! I hope you continue your QT journey and add "Jackie Brown" (1997) to the list!! Oh and btw... I don't know if you found out by now but Steve Buschemi was the one who played "buddy Holly" the waiter in the restaurant/diner scene.

I saw this at the theater in high school as a sophomore. It was the first time I found that adults sometimes really like each other's feet.

Few things. Miramax was Harvey W's company and distributed many indy films or up and comers in the 90's/00's, so you will see his name if you watch more. This was a big time Indy film and barely made the film festival deadline. I thought this was one where the reaction to what's coming is more interesting than the commentary because you have no way of knowing how crazy it gets unless you've seen it. Last, something I picked up on this watch. The 5 foxy foxes were awfully like the assassins in Kill Bill.

Pulp fiction is arguably Quentin Tarantino's best movie. However, I hope you continue your Quentin Tarantino journey and consider watching Jackie Brown with Robert de Niro and Michael Keaton.

Some fun facts: The long haired yuppie scum is Lawrence Bender who produced the movie. Bonnie gives Butch ice after the car crash. Palooka is 1920’s slang for a washed up boxer. Vincent Vega (Travolta) is supposedly the brother of Vic Vega aka Mr Blonde, the Michael Madsen character in Reservoir Dogs. Both Pulp Fiction and Shawshank Redemption were beaten by Forest Gump in the 1994 Oscar’s - proof that the Oscar is not a good measure of quality. The thing I really appreciated on this watch was Jules’ miracle was why Butch survived. Had Jules still been with Vincent Butch couldn’t have got the drop on them. Also, Vincent wanted a shotgun in his first scene. If he’d stuck with his handgun he never would have left it on the kitchen bench.

In Captain America: Winter Soldier, when Nick Fury fakes his death, his tombstone has his Pulp Fiction bible verse on it. Pretty cool little easter egg.

Fun fact Vicky! John Travolta's character in this movie is Vincent Vega. In reservoir dogs there was a character named Victor Vega, the psycho who cut off the cops ear. It's never explicitly told but I'm pretty sure they're brothers. Vic Vega just got out of prison at the start of reservoir dogs after doing 4 years. Vincent vega at the start of pulp fiction talks about just coming back from amsterdam for 3 years. Pretty neat that it's unspoken but you can infer a lot. If neither character mentioned the death of a brother in either movie, it stands to reason they didn't know about it, which means they died around the same time, which means vincent went to amsterdam soon after his brother got arrested, which means Vic probably took the fall during a job he and Vincent were pulling together. This would explain so much about why Vic was a psycho in Reservoir Dogs. He resented the crime family, but he didn't roll on them because he was taking the fall for his brother's sake. So he did his time, played nice when he got back, and intentionally sabotaged the job. It would also explain why Vincent is kind of a screw up at his job. He doesn't really drive the jobs he and sam jack are working on, he doesn't clear the bathroom and they almost get shot, he shoots marvin in the face, and he ends up getting caught off guard by bruce willis. I think his brother was the "real" criminal and he brought his brother along to take care of him and get him paid. When he came back from Amsterdam he started getting put out on his own which is why he seems so incompetent - he relied on Vic doing all the "necessary" stuff

So I just watched your How to Train Your Dragon trilogy and there is technically 1 more "movie". There is a short film that takes place between the 3rd act (ending with the wedding) and the epilogue. It's called How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming.

Oh yeah, this is top-tier stuff right here, and you're right about this being one of those movies being the type that you have to watch a few times to really "get it." This is one of those films I feel like it's a rite of passage for people; like you gotta watch films like this type things. There's some interesting nuances and themes throughout the movie; seems like bad things always happen every time Vincent goes to the bathroom. Next time or the time after that, that you watch this, in the opening scene where the diner robbers are talking, listen in to the background as close as you can, and you'll very faintly hear the "yeah!" from Jules in the background answering a question Vincent asks him at the end of the film when they talk about Jules' "moment of clarity." Also take note of what the combination is to Marsellus Wallace's briefcase.

I wish you could've seen the look on my face when you pulled out the katana! I could've done a reaction to your reaction there! I was like, "She just has a katana right next to her?!"

LadyFinger

"this is the craziest taxi driver I have ever seen". boy do I have a move for you lmao

Now, I don't comment a lot, but that ass watch reaction was hilarious. I love Quentin's dark humour.
