So I DID NOT EXPECT WALL-E TO HAVE SO MANY THEMES THAT HIT SO CLOSE TO HOME UGH 😊❤️❤️ I really adored this movie, I feel like the morals behind it, key takeaways and beautiful animation of this movie really make it as great as everyone says. I loved Wall-E so much 🥲🥲❤️IT WAS BEYOND ADORABLE 🥰😊

One of my favorite Pixar movies from this era, for sure. I enjoyed how there was practically no dialogue in the first act of the movie and how the story was told through animation.

I've rewatched this movie SOOO many times, still noticing things about it I never noticed. Just noticed for the first time that EVE sings the song herself from Hello Dolly! (due to subtitles) when trying to get WALLE to remember who he is. This movie makes me wanna LIVE after each time I watch it! If I'm ever in a funk, this movie can inspire me out of it. (also the soundtrack is great to fall asleep to) Back when I worked at a movie theater the projectionist used to play movies soundtracks music in the lobby's speakers, music from Star Wars to this, so I used to hear this movie's music for hours on shift. Never got sick of it. That projectionist friend coworker of mine went on to become an editor on shows like The Magicians, Stargirl, and Heels. Btw sound designer Ben Burt who used his own voice mixed with effects is the voice of WALLE, and he also created the sounds with his voice for R2D2. He certainly has a penchant for making cute robot voices.

First time I watched this was in film class in college and it's a great example of how to tell a story visually. The beginning of the movie has no dialogue but it is still able to establish the story, characters, and setting beautifully.
