First and again, I love your reaction! Blofeld is very EVIL, isn't he? And so evil that we could say he is a Dr. Evil! Yes! Austin Powers' Dr. Evil is the satire of Blofeld: not seeing his face at first, sitting at a table full of henchmen, the scar on his eye, the white cat, his clothes, being James Bond's archenemy. Casting Christoph Waltz as Blofeld must have been the easiest choice for the producers. "Who could we cast to bring back the franchise's archenemy and biggest villain?" LOL I completely agree with you about the film being a little lackluster, especially the second act. But it's still a great film. And girl, Skyfall is Skyfall! You are absolutely right about it. The best! You said, "he loves his car." Yes, since 1963! LOL In Casino Royale, it's the car he wins in the Poker game. Still in Casino Royale, the sports car he uses is also an Aston Martin. And in this film, the car he "borrows" is also an Aston Martin. Some people didn't notice, but the car Blofled uses to pick up James and Madaline in the middle of nowhere is Goldfinger's car (the villain from the 1964 film). Again, thank you very much for reacting to another 007 film! 🥰🥰🥰 I can't wait to see how you react to No Time To Die, the last film of Daniel Craig's era that closes the arc of his movies. P.S. Blofeld isn't originally James' half-brother, but it was still a great idea from the writers! P.S. 2 SPECTRE is the acronym for "Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion." Sounds like a name invented by Dr. Evil! LMAO

OH MY GOSH I HAD NO IDEA!! Dr. Evil is based off him?!?! That's so funny, I can see the character similarities now  😆 I feel like the casting director REALLY knocked it out of the park with all of the villain casting. I don't think I've EVER seen a film franchise with so many amazing actors consistently playing iconic villains, back to back. It gets me more and more excited with each one!! Thank you for all the insight Daniel, reading these types of comments and gaining this information makes me respect the movies that much more so I appreciate you taking the time to type all of this out just so I have some background knowledge 🥹 I'm sad we'll be moving onto the final one... it's been quite a wild ride and so enjoyable

Two things of interest: Daniel Craig tore his meniscus in the train fight with Batista, which delayed filming for months. Also, SPECTRE is the traditional foil of Bond, but there was a lawsuit that stopped them from using the name as well as the character Blowfeld, who is the main Bond Villain. Also, Dr Evil is a mimic of Blowfeld, and the cat was a a classic part of his character, which is why you see the cat here and why Dr Evil has Mr Bigglesworth. Also, Blowfeld has a scar on his face, which is why Dr Evil's face has it too. This is more of the origin of Blowfeld than previous films.
