Update 7/6/22 (Patreon)

My primary focus now is writing- A Temperamental Enchantress. This is my first book series and the one that is in many ways most special to me. I have it more planned out than any other series.

Yet either because of that emotional attachment or because of the sheer number of characters and depth of the world it is slower for me to write. Some of it may be nerves about the upcoming release of Prism Academy next week.

I got 2 chapters done (and finished one I had started on) and that was about as far as I could make it. It wasn't enough work for the day and it wasn't as far as I had hoped to take the story.

That led me to do some other writing. With that in mind, I wrote a chapter of a new book. (I'm not gonna pop it up here yet because I don't think I will have much time to focus on it for a while- but will give it to you all once I have enough chapters) and to start setting up the next Four Laws book.

I outlined the story and then started chapter 1 of Untamed Lands, which I finished this morning.

I have numerous projects that need to be written-

3 more books in Four Laws
3 more books in Prism Academy
2 more books in the 2nd story arc of Life in Exile
1 more book in Shaman's Call
1 more book in Class Shift
the 3 book trilogy for Dragon Sorcerer

and that doesn't count the ones that are on my mind but don't have a spot yet.

For now, I am going to TRY to spend my writing energy on Four Laws whenever I need to step away from A Temperamental Enchantress. That makes the most sense since it is the next Burke book to be published.
