Dante King tried it as well with his Dragonbreeder series. I don't know if it sold well or not. I have read the whole series and listened to all audiobooks but i can't get into it in german. A lot of expressions sound really awkward and clunky. Plus most of the puns won't work. And the sex scenes are kind of strange to read in german. I guess a lot of words don't fit the english translation well and some are missing entirely. If your sales are good then there is maybe a market but from my experience its doubtful. I will stick to the english originals.
