Question #1-   how would you feel if this book was FTB rather than explicit?

Question #2-  I am intentionally moving slowly with the development of relationships in general in this book and specifically physical relationships  - is that working for you?

well written FTB or well written Explicit - I don't have much preference between the two (slight bias toward explicit). Bad explicit is worse than well-written FTB for me.

David Burke writes the good explicit stuff.

Agree - and even though Sean/David didn’t ask question, I would much rather have fewer romantic interests that are well developed characters that don’t fade into the background after their story arc, than numerous 1 dimensional characters that I can’t keep straight…

Definitely the goal moving forward. When I initially started War God it was only supposed to be 3 books with Hilde, Nyda, and Lash as the only love interests. With Skylar as a possibility that I hadn't decided about. Sometimes the characters go places you didn't expect. Kierra stepped up and I couldn't exclude her. Then Raina was supposed to stay a bad girl and eventually be killed but something about the redemption arc spoke to me. This is also one of the reasons I have ended up expanding it to 5 books. I wanted to play out those characters more.

And I guess I should add that in Law of Strength- it is my intention to keep the harem limited and build the relationships more. Right now- Lina and Josie are pretty much sure things, although I don't see Josie getting physical before book 2. Rava (elven alchemist) and Mursha (orc blacksmith's daughter) are both possibilities. Rava has sorta pushed me away a bit, but not ruling it out.

Lol - can’t blame you for any of that… especially Raina - I really liked the redemption arc too!
