PPS: I've been thinking of having it possible to fail at gaining the support of the Southern Islands by failing to have Dena named successor. This would mean a smaller fleet advantage towards the end of the battle. This will mean more deaths and the possibility of losing an alliance. For those who choose not to accompany Elora and Dena, I'd likely implement a randomiser so that you can either gain or lose the alliance regardless.
