Weekly Devlog: 4-10 September 2023 (Patreon)

Hello Patrons!

It's nearing the middle of September which feels surreal considering how long August felt. This past week has seen me working on Anu's dialogue scenes on the ship and unfortunately, I've not completed it. I'll likely finish off the dialogue scenes fully by this week and once that's done, I'll move onto the Southern Islands scenes.

During writing the dialogue scenes, I realised that there needs to be a smaller, 'filler' scene with a chosen RO/friend, but it would mean more writing time and I've already pushed the update by a long time so I'm going to leave that scene out and go back to adding it during edits.

For now, my biggest concern is coding and writing all the RO and NSFW scenes for this chapter. The original plan was to have Irus' NSFW scene have options for players who didn't do the deed with him the first time and then for players who had etc. But again, coding and writing the variations would take too long, so I'm cutting it down to catering for one variation - whether or not anything happened the first time.

I'll be keeping everyone posted as I continue with Chapter 8 but we're nearing the halfway mark so yay 🎉
