It certainly was interesting to see the decision behind why Ahlf left Salyra and the MC! A part of me understands, but also I just want to shake the both of them XD they both believe the decisions they make are for the best, but then they never seem to listen to the other properly! I did feel a pang of sympathy for Salyra - even knowing the reason behind why she had MC with Ahlf - to prove peace could be achieved - but at the same time, the ignorance pains me with the hindsight of what the MC goes through anyway. However, once again, I loved the angst lol I think it makes an interesting contrast that regardless of Ahlf's decision in this moment, his fate was to end up being the one to have MC through childhood, and it seems Salyra is the one who ends up abandoning MC/family, also due to the threat of Erlan! The conflicting feelings you produce are amazing, but it was nice seeing papa again, even with the outcome of being left behind. Thanks for the side story~
