Hello Patrons!

It's officially April - the year is going by quite quickly and I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around it. April brings a bit of good news for those who are anxious for the next chapter of Crown of Exile. For those of you who don't know, I had been working full-time since the end of February which meant that I had almost no time to actually work on the main game. My contract ended on Friday, the 31st of March and I declined an extension into April because not only have I been drained, but I ended up getting sick and spent the past week trying to recover.

I have a new job lined up for May, which means that I'm free in April to dedicate my time to Chapter 7. So far, I've drafted the very basic outline of Chapter 7 with planned scenes that I want to feature. Chapter 7 is not nearly as exciting as the previous chapters and I wanted players to have a moment to catch their breath and to deal with everything that's happened so far.

The chapter will feature some stat increase events and learning more about the divine blessings and weapons. You'll also get a chance to speak to Danzor and Rana if you want - players will be given the option to change their mind so if you previously didn't want to meet them, you can still meet them in Chapter 7.

There will also be more political talks dealing with alliances - Ishari is not nearly enough to defeat Virion and the Blood Guard on account of the effects of war on the population. You'll also have to deal with the Nomad prisoners who escaped and the consequences that come from that. Of course, there will be more romance/companion scenes (sorry, no NSFW scenes for Chapter 7!).

Chapter 7 won't be nearly as long as the previous chapters, it'll be a lot like Chapter 4 that deals with the transition of going from Ishari to the Southern Islands. Chapter 8 will deal with the Southern Islands and meeting an old friend 😏

I will start working on Chapter 7 from tomorrow and as I have always done, I will be sharing some sneak peeks and progress updates with everyone throughout the month.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and for being so patient! ❤️️
