Weekly Devlog: 21 - 27 November 2022 (Patreon)

Hello Patrons!

This past week has been filled with revisions - when is it not? I've made some decent progress on the interlude scenes - I'm on the last part of the interlude scene, where the MC can choose to return to their chamber. What took up time with this was the letter potions of the scene. There were three letters, each with five responses, meaning fifteen different variations. This is just a portion of how a response to one letter looks.

Because the letters are each different, I couldn't just use one set of responses for it. I also started working on Oren's book scene - if the player received a book from Oren in chapter 2, they can now read it. All that I have to do is write the lore for the books and then I'll move on to the part where the MC can examine the ring that Irus gave them in Chapter 2 (if applicable). I'm pushing to finish both of these today so that I can use the next few days adding in Zikar's scene and then expanding the kiss options for Elora and Oren. I'm trying to finish the scenes by Friday latest so that my testers can go through it and I can have the edits ready for you by next week.

The end is in sight and soon, I can say goodbye to Part 1 and start with Chapter 4. It's just around the corner 🥳️
