I get the concern about patients suffering due to blood shortage but it i were a vampire with the power of compulsion i would have every adult who is able compelled to donate blood as frequently as is safe.

the Damon and Rebekah sex scene was so hot ngl. It’s also so smart of damon to get the wickery bridge sign so they can kill the originals. I also think Elena was being too extra when Stefan was feeding on blood. Like damon said, at the end of the day, they are vampires. They have to drink blood. She must understand that it’s in their nature to drink blood.

I also loved it when damon told him, “stop being ashamed of who you are.” It’s such a sweet line that he says to his brother. He cares so much for him. I love how their bond has grown stronger.

Plus, Vampires also need blood to survive. I see them as humans with special powers who need blood to survive and not hurt other people. So, I'm ok with them drinking from blood banks.
