Hello, everyone!

I hope you've all had a chance to watch the Leliana minivid released earlier this week. Subtitles were added earlier today.

With that minivid out of the way, I've been working away at the grindstone for Overbreed Episode 0. The second image in this week's post is my checklist of scenes to make. I exhausted all of the scenes I can make with only the ladies, and so started working through my assets list.

The first set of new assets to be built were the Omnics, released over on Twitter the other day. They've been getting put to good use since.

Amazingly there seems to be no SFM model of Winston available on the Workshop, so I am going to have to do a quick blast-port of him myself. I only need him for the ensemble images, as he is the leader of Overwatch. Thankfully there is at least a Doomfist model, so I don't have to deal with the leader of Talon.

I am quickly running out of shots that are done purely within SFM. I suspect that by next week, all that I will have left are the animated shots (which I am saving for last, because they will be the largest time-sinks), and the gene-bomb shot. The reason why gene-bomb is being singled out here is the wonderful Ordagon is building a high-quality 3d model of the gene-bomb, but he hasn't had the time to finish it lately. Hopefully he'll get it finished soon, but I'm not going to push him just yet - I haven't even gotten Mercy's monologue audio back.

Once all of the remaining shots have been tackled, I need to go back and start finishing shots. And that will require a lot of outfit work. A lot.

In the second image's checklist, I use "[O]" to denote "made, but not finished", which 95% of the time means "needs outfit work." "[X]" means "ready to render." You'll notice a lot more "[O]" than "[X]", and almost all of those are because of missing outfits.

So hopefully by this time next week, I'll be working through the animated shots. And then by this time the week after, I'll be knee-deep  ̶i̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶d̶e̶a̶d̶ in building and fixing outfits.

As a final, unrelated note, I put up a new page on my website that you can use to keep up on the on-stream video projects. The plan is to put up a new version of the current on-stream videos every week, as they're worked on. As of posting, the Frozen video is currently 8:39, and the Claire/Jill project is a whopping 22:12. I just got word back from guest director DrJavi earlier today about Claire/Jill, so hopefully next Saturday we'll be able to start getting things moving on it again.

So if you're interested in either of those projects, then bookmark that page and check on it once a week. I'll be added a changelog at the top saying what the most recent changes are. It won't be comprehensive though, and will just denote the changes since the week prior. That's just for the sake of space.

That's where we are, and that's where we're headed. Nothing too extraordinary to report. Just keeping my head down as I chip away at this.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like things are rolling right along.

Is there a way to download the subtitles?

We never got subtitle auto-conversion & downloading working on the current branch of the films page backend. The way it's all built basically meant we would have to make an entirely new films page backend to enable that. Which is actually exactly what we did. We have a new version that's in development, and it has subtitle auto-convert & downloading working. But it's still not ready to go live, and likely won't be for some time. My web developer is Russian, and the Ukraine conflict has... complicated his financial situation. Corporate clients are taking priority for him right now, understandably. If you really need the subtitles, I can manually convert them and toss a download link for you.
