Progress Report - December 3 2020 - Rachaos Begins Production! (Patreon)

Hello, everyone!

I am pleased to announce that the screenplay for Rachaos is effectively finished, and production has formally begun! I started animating the sex sequences today, starting with the montage animations, evidenced by this post's video.

As you can tell, this is a very rough sketch. No scenebuild, no lighting, and superfluous details like Chaos' rear arms and tail are completely unanimated. I'm just focusing on the core motions right now, trying to get the speed and intensity right.

It's a bit of a challenge, because there are some major logistical challenges when it comes to thrusting a two-foot-long cock balls deep in an impactful way. I'm not 100% chuffed with this current animation, but I am going to call it good enough and move on. I can revisit it and try to tweak the motion some more, to give it more oomph, once all the other animations are similarly blocked out.

Speaking of logistical challenges, this particular animation had an issue I've never come across before, that needed to be worked around: unposed, the cock poked out through her neck. Yes, you read that right. Her neck.

Let's just say I am glad I didn't intend for this particular animation to be xray'd, because the solution I came up with is very slapshot. That being said, I expect most of the animations to have this problem.

I suppose that's one of the reasons I chose this project - I love me a good challenge, I love mixing things up, and I love experimenting. To say this project is all three in a single package, in the context of my previous projects, is a fair statement. Blue Star Episode 3 comes close, but Rachaos outdoes even that in every relevant capacity.

Speaking of Blue Star, for the first time since Episode 1 of that series, my three original voices are reuniting for Rachaos! Milly Stern (Jack) will be voicing our horny heroine huntress Rachel; InsideIncognita (Liara) the sultry scheming seductress Nyotengu; and Ivan E Recshun (Literally every male alien in Blue Star to date) the calamitous cock carrier (I can't think of something to keep up the gimmick here, give me some slack) Chaos.

I will be doing some last-second tweaks (things like fixing typos mostly) to the screenplay tomorrow, and before the end of day I will be sending out the screenplays to our wonderfully skilled voice talent.

In general, the way I try to work on projects is in parallel: non-sex audio gets recorded while I animate the sex sequences; then we exchange audio and video, and sex audio gets recorded while I animate the non-sex sequences. But due to the vast quantity of sex animations in this project (10 montage sequences, plus around 10 more non-montage sequences), it's very likely my wonderful voice talent will be sitting on their thumbs waiting for me to finish the sex animations.

I'll be lucky if I can get 2 sex animations done a day, and that's not counting days where I have other things going on. Right now I am aiming at getting 5 sex animations done a week. With my departing for my Christmas vacation with my family in 2 weeks, that coincides nicely with a milestone - I am hoping to have all of the montage sex sequences done before I depart.

Not gonna lie, this is the perfect situation to have an assistant animator working alongside me. Alas, it is what it is.

Expect next week's update to predominantly just be a report on the sex animation progress, with maybe a splash of voice-talent update. Depends how quickly these wonderful people can turn around on the audio - there's a fair bit of it, even in the non-dub segments.
