Tales From The Liziverse Pilot - Progress Report #1 (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone!
I apologize for this "Thursday reports coming late on Fridays / early on Saturdays" becoming a trend. I blame the time-sink that is the early-access game Stellar Tactics.
If you’ve read the other two posts on the subject made today, then you’ve probably come to the conclusion that I have been copy-pasting that opening around. And you’d be goddamn right to conclude as such.
If you haven’t read the other two posts, then I would heavily recommend you read the public post on the matter, where I discuss the general premise of this new project, as well as detail some significant changes I will be making to how I work going forward and the reasons behind those changes. And then it might be in your interest to read the screenplay for this particular video.
Eschewing the “in a nutshell” explanation (check the screenplay post if you want to read the nutshell!), let’s get right into the production itself.
As you can tell by the image of this post, I already have all 5 of the core sex animations done. They are notably more exaggerated and larger-than-life than what I normally do. That wasn’t originally planned, but honestly, I kind of like the style change. A more whimsical approach to kinematics for a more whimsical approach to storytelling. I think it fits.
This scenebuild is also literally half of the entirety of this project’s locations. I wasn’t joking when I said I am cutting down on scale. Next week’s goals are to get all of the pole-dancing animations done, as well as the lap-dance. Basically, just get all of the core animation for the strip-club sequence done. I also want to get Innie’s feedback on the screenplay, get any revisions made, and get her recording as soon as possible.
Ideally, I will have all of her sex-scene inner-monologue dialogue in my hands by next Thursday (July 9), so that I can space out the sex scene with them and get her recording the rest of the audio by the Thursday after (July 16). That’d give me 2 weeks to do the narrative animation, and my sound designer a little under 2 weeks (however long it takes me to quickly install and block out all of the narrative audio) to get everything put together, if I am to respect the August 1 release date.
As always, no promises I will hit it. But as I say in the public post, I will do my honest-to-God best to hit it.
That’s all for now! Hopefully next week’s progress report will have some sexy pole-dance animation! 😉
