Hey everyone!
So, if you can't tell, today's preview isn't a 2160p render. Also if you can't tell, it's a few days late. I apologize for both.
I am in the process of detailing the last non-sex sequence. It took me about 2 days to fully detail 6 of the non-sex sequences. This last one, which leads into the sex scene, is entering day 3 of processing.
I did not anticipate it taking so long, but as this clip demonstrates, there are long wide-shots with full-body motion. More than a few of them. To say nothing of the more complex motions, like putting the magazine down. As a result, I can't take a lot of the shortcuts as I classically am able to do with narrative animation.
So while things are going a bit slower than I had hoped, things are still going along swimmingly well and on-time. I am hoping to have all of the non-sex detailing done by Monday, and to be ready to start the final 2160p renders by Friday evening. I am anticipating 72 sum hours to render everything. With Sandboxie, I can dual-render and cut that down to 36 effective hours. Sandboxie is also going totally freeware soon (it may already have!), which will theoretically allow me to run three or even four instances of SFM, assuming my hardware can handle it. Regardless, it will be an experience.
Also, if you haven't figured it out yet, the video preview has sound. Go to the Redgif upload and turn on audio. I have music playing intentionally to make the audio harder to rip, as usual. The animation there isn't 100% final, but it is the first draft of the detail animation for this sequence. Expect the final result to look very similar, though timing and motions may get tweaked.
As of writing, I am about 2/3 the way done processing this sequence. All of DVa's animation is done, and a third of Plowman's.
