After having promised to do it 7.5 months ago, I’ve finally actually done it: the fabled video of Marie Rose choking down this 18-inch dildo prop.

As with all of these shorts I’ve made during this break, this project is a bit of an avant-garde experiment. In this case, it is a stylistic diametric opposite to Miscellaneous Expenses: where the aforementioned short focused on capitalizing on and exploiting cinematic tropes, Alternative Advertising is a meta-narrative, focusing on a “real life” aesthetic.

Put another way, where Miscellaneous Expenses was very much trying to emulate the big-name Hollywood film-noire movies and Westerns that it takes influence from, Alternative Advertising is a video about making a video. So, like with all my works, expect something a little different with this video - but, as always, you can expect those certain traits you’ve come to know and (hopefully) love with my works.
