Absolutely loved re-watching this show with you, glad you liked it as well and thank goodness Netflix officially renewed it for season 2. Really stunning visuals in this episode to wrap up the season. Other than Mizu's fight with Fowler in the burning building, I think Akemi's "I want to be great" line was what really took my breath away seeing it the first time.

This is absolutely my least favorite episode of this season for a few reasons. I think Mizu acts out of character here by not killing Fowler despite his "I have info you don't" gambit. I think the episode made the city look like it was defended by like maybe a dozen total guys which seems really weird. This episode feels the "loosest" to me compared to how well thought out the rest of the season was. It still has a lot of great imagery, but I don't think the story came together in this one nearly as well as previous episodes. Finally, I think that "hey we're going to London now" is not an appealing setup for the next season for me. London is fine I guess, but it doesn't have the aesthetic I'm looking for from a show called Blue Eye Samurai. Hopefully the second season will come out and prove my fears baseless, but for now I am not as excited for season two as I could be.
