I am so excited to go through this journey all over again with you! I remember season 3 very fondly and so far I'm just as stoked as I was when it first came out, there's just something magical about Change. Also Tenzin should take his shirt off more often lols! Shout out to my boy Zuko!

I knew the first episode would hook you, but the second one even more so :) Lord Zuko is back! Sifu Hotman himself! Also yes you're right about it being lavabending. I'd always wondered if it was possible as well, but seeing Roku and Kyoshi doing it made me assume it was only an avatar ability since it accompanied both fire and earth in my head. But then I thought of metalbending and turning water into ice or steam and just considering that it makes it have total sense.
