korra was severed from her past life specifically because unavaatu beat up raava, not because it was harmonic convergence. Its a controversial writing choice, i personally like it because it forces korra to be more independant of the past

i love how we didn't get a discussion just nope start to the next 1 and im all here for that energy. Book 3 of korra holds a special place in the my heart cant wait for you to experience it.

The reason Zaheer is so immediately good at air bending is because he’s an incredible martial artist and fighter. He’s just added air bending to the ends of his fighting moves. You’ll see though out the episodes that his air bending is very different compared to say tenzins or Korras. It’s never really addressed in the show and a see a lot of people confused why he’s so proficient at air bending even though he just got it.

Was seeing if someone would talk about it. The bending is based on actual martial arts. Zaheer knows the air bending culture VERY well and knows the moves, he just didn't have the power but it made him a good fighter. Now he still fights the same but can use air to supplement his natural martial prowess.

Regarding Zaheer's voice: If you haven't seen this already (I haven't checked the other video yet), he is voiced by Henry Rollins, who you might know as the former singer from Black Flag if you're a punk fan, or from his spoken word shows, or various acting roles, both live action and voice acting, that he's been taking over the years. (Pretty sure he started in the mid-90s, although it didn't really ramp up until the mid 2000s or so.)
