Keep in mind that when this series first came out, “universal wifi” was a relatively new thing. The way I explain to myself about Cylon consciousness uploads is that it’s a similar process— the Cylon resurrection centers seem to have some sort of universal wifi working that constantly and regularly makes a backup copy of every active Cylon, much like the cloud making a periodic backup of your hard drive just in case it’s needed. This also means, at least in my mind, that an outside source could “read” or download that backup copy of a specific Cylon even before they die. And multiple copies of that Cylon could be made, all with those memories intact up to that most recent save point. I always wondered how Helo’s Sharon knew about Adama’s speech in episode one when she wasn’t actually there. I don’t remember… was Helo’s Sharon reborn AFTER Boomer was shot by Calli?

Simple answer, no. Although it's fair to say Boomer was periodically 'backing up' to ensure Sharon didn't not know something and tip Helo off to the 'honey trap'.
