Good moments for the "sisters" in this ep! It always hits home when Toph lets her walls down

Aangs got hit by lightning. It's basically a burn, it's not going to go away. It's because Toph walks and fights and acts like a normal person, it's just if she can't feel it with vibrations that she can't see it. I kept forgetting she was blind too. She would be able to read raised letters on stone or metal thought. Combustion man's real name Alan 😂 Just kidding. He has no name, which is cool in it of itself.

Aang also has a corresponding scar on his foot. The lightning hit him in the back and went to ground at the bottom of his body. There's also an interesting parallel in this episode to an earlier one. The method that Iroh teaches Zuko to redirect lightning comes from a waterbending method. Firebending is the only type of bending that uses your own energy, your own fire, rather than manipulating an external element - except here, where Katara uses her own water. Really shows how those two characters grow over time by becoming more similar.
