It was said in the episode, but those cylons in the theater were not watching from the fleet. They were back on the colonies. The entire reason those two raiders jumped into the fleet was to pick up the 'cut' footage and transmit it back to the cylons. Both raiders were destroyed, but they transmitted the footage first. And if I remember right, they don't do another 'found footage' style episode again.

The video effect for the documentary footage was less jarring on CRT TV and DVD or broadcast at the time. It's pretty obnoxious now that the show has been remastered to high def.

I just watched the opening, so it could be explained in the episode. But I believe "preggo" Sharon knows everything that "shooter" Sharon knows. She even knew what Adama said to the deceased body of "Shooter" Sharon. I don't trust her. MmmMmm. Not one bit. (It's hard to identify characters. :])

I liked the attention to detail! Camcorders, tape and from the view finder. Very similiar to coverage of the vietnam war. Not showing the dogfight but hearing it on archaic radio system again added real drama which is how the CIC has to operate. I agree, I love Space Shit too but creating a intrusive in your face sensationalistic bias harks to what mass media does here on earth! Love your work Angela, cheers from way downunder! Peter

Also...I think it's generally accepted that Boomer in the theater on Caprica at the end of the episode was the "original" Boomer that Cally killed on Galactica. Going forward, probably a good rule of thumb to follow is to separate the 8s...."Boomer" was the original, now on Caprica...."Sharon" is the one in the special cell on Galactica.
