The religious plots in the show was a very divisive aspect when BSG was airing. People loved it or hated it. As someone with religious trauma i dont typically like religious sub plots, but I think Ronald D Moore uses it as a tool to demonstrate very complex aspects of humanity that space ships and robots never will. Also, imo, Starbuck's character arc is up there along side Zuko's. Both go through incredible character development. Great reaction as always!

As far as Boomer getting pregnant by Chief, that would be a no-no on the Galactica so they would have used birth control.

I think you're right that Adama taking Roslin into custody was personal. At its core, Adama probably felt that Roslin had made a clear violation of the agreement they both made in the miniseries, that military decisions would be his alone. One of the things that really appealed to me in this series is that even good leaders make poor decisions, based on their own biases and feelings about the situation, and generally the show doesn't try to paint any one action as objectively wrong. The big ship Sharon was flying just gets referred to as a "heavy raider" throughout the series. It's basically just a raider with more guns and a transport capacity. I'm not sure if it requires a separate pilot like the centurions or Sharon to fly it, or if it can fly itself like the regular raiders though. They never address what became of the one that crashed into Galactica's launch bay and allowed the centurions to board, so possibly it jumped away afterwards.

There's a movie called "The Plan" that ties up a lot of loose ends and answers some of the questions that doesn't get answered in the series (Shelly being one of them), so make sure you watch that after.

Brilliant reaction to one of the most hard hitting (and uncomfortable) episodes so far! Getting more of Kara's backstory and more people saying she was "Special" definitely leaves you with more questions. I'm so happy Richard Hatch decided to take the role of Tom Zarek. It's such a wonderful tie to the classic series and he was truly a great actor.

I'm in agreement about watching The Plan after you watch the whole series. It truly does tie a lot together from early on in the series.
