Definitely agree that there is a feeling of mutual respect between Ahsoka and Baylan, at least for their skills if not their goals. I guess Ezra’s been fighting raiders for years without a lightsabre, so maybe he’s comfortable sticking with what’s familiar rather than shifting to a weapon he hasn’t used in all that time. He still did well unarmed against Shin, though not as well as Ahsoka did against that inquisitor in Tales of the Jedi. I also like Sabine’s developing style mixing in blasters, lightsabre and her suit weapons. Baylan sending Shin on her way definitely surprised me. She has always been rather disdainful of the Night Sisters and their powers though, so if his ultimate goal relates to them I can see why he might not want her involved. Or, I suppose it might be as simple as he knows he’s going somewhere extremely dangerous and wants to keep her out of danger. He certainly seemed to react quite angrily when Ahsoka smacked her into that henge on Seatos.

Can't believe there's already only one episode left 😭 I hope we get a season 2, I love these characters so much, 8 episodes is not enough. Guess Ezra settled the lightsaber debate, it was a gift and it's Sabine's now. There was a TV spot that kinda spoiled that Anakin had more lines somewhere in there, guess we know where now. Wonder if we might get a force ghost in the finale? I can't get enough of Anakin + Ahsoka in live action. I don't think I've ever been happier to see C-3PO 🥲 I had the exact same thought, what if Carrie Fisher was still with us... Seeing her storm into that court room to put that arrogant senator Xiono in his place the way she could would have been just absolutely glorious to see. And Chopper's reaction to that guy dissing droids was so good 🤣 He don't know who he's messing with haha

The FX team knocked it out of the park this week. The way that Shin's lightsaber blade blurred when Ezra did the Force Push against it was such a small detail, but oh so cool.

At this point, I will be very surprised if Ahsoka and friends make it back to the original galaxy in the finale. It seems like a perfect setup for future stories to have them get stranded here in the new galaxy at the end of the first season so part of what they do in the future is search for a way to get back home. I also assume they will be in conflict with whatever power Balan is searching for. I also think Thrawn will almost definitely make it back to the original galaxy to cause trouble because it's just too dramatic to not do it. That way all the good guys left in the original galaxy have a big threat to face and all the good guys stranded in the new galaxy have their own battles. Then they eventually make it back and we get to have a big reunion with everyone teaming up to defeat Thrawn. So because that is what I expect to happen, I'm sure almost none of it will. And that's okay because I'm sure whatever Dave Filoni comes up with will be so much better than anything I am currently imagining.

When Ahsoka hugs Ezra after the battle, is this the first time in the series we hear her laugh? I've never watched "Rebels" or "Clone Wars", but judging from the comments here I take it the "old" Ahsoka--her more "real" personality--is making a comeback?

2023-09-28 22:16:22 Team Ahsoka can get home whenever they want, they have a ship with comms and Ezra, he knows how to communicate to Purrgil through a ship comms system, see Rebels finale, Shin looked scared, almost pouty after both Ezra and Ahsoka handled her without lightsabers, Baylon’s quest is so intriguing and I think will be the monkey wrench for both Team Ahsoka and Thrawn, maybe whatever that manifestion and/or being is who Sam Whitwer is playing…I’m wondering if Ahsoka has used any of those Anakin videos in years to train, happy to see her using them now…great as always Thrawn losing cause someone didn’t do their job…I’m spinning, what will the finale give us?
