Hi, joined for your Firefly and Serenity reactions. Had so much fun watching them, figured I would stick around to rewatch BSG. Loved the show when it first came out and had to get all the blu-rays. Probably haven't seen it in ten years though, can't wait to relive it with you. Hope a solution is found for the viewing problem, so others can enjoy it as much as I did! Also I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but as a little piece of trivia, Tricia Helfer, Number Six used to date Captain Mal, Nathan Fillion! They dated while he was filming Firefly.

There was something else I thought I'd chime in on. Galactica did get hit by a nuke, yes. But, nukes are not the same kind of dangerous in space as they are in an atmosphere. In an atmosphere, all the energy being released heats up that air immensely turning it into a huge fireball that creates massive shockwaves that do a lot of damage to the surroundings. In space, there's none of that. It's just a really potent flash of energy. For an unarmored civilian ship it would likely be devastating, but Galactica is an armored battleship, designed to be able to take lots of punishment. That blast definitely caused some damage, but it wasn't totally devastating.

As a fan of the original 70s show, I remember seeing this with some skepticism. But the mini-series won me over and I enjoyed the ride the series took me. Here's looking forward to watching you experience BSG.

This is great! Thanks for doing this series! It’s been a long time for me. Also, there is a “blink and you’ll miss it” of the Serenity (firefly vessel) when the “Caprica City, Caprica” is on the screen and we see the windows and the pan down. The upper left hand of the screen, through the window, a firefly vessel is making a landing run. Looks like you missed it.😉

OG Battlestar is better at explaining, Machines wanted all humans to be destroyed. It was a huge success riding off of Star Wars and the SFX they used for a tv show. Starbuck was a man, Boomer was a black man, col. tigh was an older black man, and ADAMA had 2 sons Zack and Apollo and a daughter Athena. You should watch the OG Battlestar Galactica movie. It was a movie then became a series on TV.

Moment I saw The look of absolute disgust on your face seeing Gaius Balthar dive into his "it's not you, it's me" dance number for Number 6 in this episode I knew I'd made right choice to sign up for the unedited episodes tier! Perfection!
