The end credit scene will be in the edited version. I didn’t know about it until three days later.

John Wick Chapter 4 FULL LENGTH Movie Reaction

FULL LENGTH REACTION

Comments

Nathanael Fuller (Polygon Wizard)

Oooo! Looking forward to seeing what you thought of this one! I enjoyed JW4 in theaters but it may be my least favorite John Wick movie overall. Maybe that will change upon re-watch. Who knows! I'll find out for sure when I watch your reaction this weekend.

funnylilgalreacts

Same. I thought it was visually stunning. It was by far the most beautiful John Wick movie. Some of the shots they had were just jaw dropping. But story wise. It wasn’t as great.

Nathanael Fuller (Polygon Wizard)

Part of me was disappointed we didn't get a big Laurence Fishburne + Keanu Reeves teamup movie that was set up at the end of JW3. But at least Donnie Yen was cool as hell, as always.

Bubba Fett

Oh fun I haven't seen this yet. Didn't know it was out for streaming already!

I watched this a few days ago. Really liked it, but the action scenes did not really wow me until we got to one near the end. Wow. In terms of my favorite tier list, i would have to go 3, 1, 4, 2. I am not convinced this is the end though. We'll see. I look forward to watching this with you tonight or this weekend.

Love the movie reactions on Fridays! I saw that one in theaters with a friend and we had a blast, can't wait to rewatch it. I just need to decide if this is more of a 🌮 or🍕 movie... Apparently John Wick 5 is in the works which I guess was expected since every movie has been doing better than the last. I just hope they don't milk that franchise until it becomes actively bad because I really like these movies and the whole universe they've built.

funnylilgalreacts

Story wise the order of release is my favorite. Action wise your order makes more sense. Although I love that birds eye shot fight scene… I was blown away by that.

I really wish Patreon would add a spoiler tag to their comment system where you have to click "Show spoilers" to see the comment. It's probably super easy to implement too, cmon Patreon step up your game :P

It's not a big deal or anything, but it might be useful for the youtube edit: I think the sound and the video are a bit unsynced between 00:38:00 and 02:31:00 (it gets more noticeable after 01:00:00) :)

If you like watching Donnie Yen in action, you should checkout the IP Man movies. Which by the way in the IP Man 4 film, Donnie's character fights a character played by Scott Adkins who played "Killa", the BIG man with the gold teeth. Also Hiroyuki Sanada who played "Shimazu" the manager of the Osaka Continental, was in another movie with Keanu Reeves called 47 Ronin.

In case you're interested, the sparkle gun used during the scene filmed from the top is a regular shotgun used with special ammunition (called dragon's breath) :)

Oh this was so much fun. From the endless popcorn to the "I'm Japanese, it's fine" to the Lance emotions to the growing incredulousness at the amout of falls/car hits John can take, I LOVED IT. On point. Scott Adkins in the fat suit as Killa was something I didn't know I needed. He's a legendary stuntman/B-movie martial arts hero, occasionally breaking through to the top tier (he fought Doctor Strange in the first movie) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKmKjnDaN6U&ab_channel=GQ to see what the man really looks/sounds like

funnylilgalreacts

Omg that’s phenomenal! Fat suit guy had a lot of flexibility so I was thrown off 😂 Honest question: can you hear that effin cricket? I must have searched for an hour afterwards and I was going BONKERS

Joseph Marshall

also, I was gonna save this comment for the YT upload, and may still say something because I think it's funny, but I have a *passionate* movie critic/JW fan who, upon seeing this movie on the big screen, declared John as "that mf is soap opera dead. No way that he survives car hit after car hit to be done in by flesh wounds, physical toll or not"

twe

yea massively out of sync. great reaction though if you can ignore, audio is in sync but cam is wildly off.

Arronax06

I watched on youtube , but just to be clear, I'm not talking about the movie: it's the audio and the video of the reaction itself that are unsynced, your lips and your words have a delay between them for most of the video :) .

Arronax06

As far as I can tell, the edited reaction doesn't have this issue :)

funnylilgalreacts

Xander said the rendered version on his end doesn’t have it either so it must be a Youtube issue so will get the new version uploaded

XanderWhat

So, the render was also out of sync, so it was something with my software. Viewing it in the editor, it WAS in sync, so it was some sort of render error. I believe I've fixed it, and I'm re-rendering it now, new version will be up in a few hours!

Arronax06

The new version seems to work properly, thanks again to you both :) (Also thanks for having added the end credit scene in there :) )

Nice hearing you point out all the great sets, most real places, is it crazy to think set design for this film is Oscar worthy? I mean it supports the story to the nth degree…they shut down the Louve, or at least a wing for them to shoot that short seguence where Mr manager delivers the duel decree to the marquis, in the iTunes xtras, the director points out how they went out of their way to find but spaces for wide shots, especially with interiors, the overhead gun battle indoors with the long shots was impressive, so much diversity in the types of action, and I never new there were so many ways to use nunchucks. Charon’s death was quite a gut punch….by the way, it’s already announced that a John Wick 5 is being looked at, won’t happen IMO without Chad and Keanu having a story they think is worthy of telling. The two of them are already teaming up for a completely new film, new IP, forgot the name, but think that would happen before any chance of a JW5. Really impressive 4 films with a continued narrative. Enjoyed your reactions on each. Fun
