Woo! I'm caught up, Patron'd and finally get to comment one of my favorite things that blew me away on a rewatch and yet have to wait to tell new viewers until this episode. There's a wonderful moment back in the episode that seems to hook people, s1e4: CQB. At the beginning, Avasarala is on the roof staring up at the stars when her grandson comes out and talks with her. Her grandson mentions at the sight of the shooting stars that they're nothing to be scared of, and they have a talk about it and Avasarala mentions she's worried about people who throw rocks. Talk about foreshadowing.

I remember that episode and her saying that, and thinking that it was a metaphor. And then as they slowly introduced Marco, I realized, that was no metaphor.

No kidding. Those were the kinds of moments that were nice to have going from watching it over years as it came out instead of getting it all at once. Just like seeing Filip in the ship that took off from the Mars hanger when he nearly blew up Bobbi, or when you caught the cancer meds saving Holden right away. I’m glad I found your reactions and having similar excitements and emotional gut punches. It may be nearing the end, but it’s wonderful sharing the experience with everyone.

Yeah - this show, if you're paying attention and know what you're looking for, has massive foreshadowing of what's to come. If you go back to the episode with Diogo on his Uncle's ship where he gets left out in space (Rock Bottom) before his uncle _throws an asteroid at the martians_ he's listening to a broadcast by somebody (I'm guessing it's Marco before Marco was cast, some of the inflections in the voice are very similar) talking about the inners one day "comprehend[ing] the hail of stones that will come crashing down through their precious blue sky". There's loads more examples but that's the other big one I always remember.

It will always be the Razorback to me. I missed the entire campaign to bring the show back. I went from, "Noooo.... The Expanse is cancelled." to, "Wait, what?!? Season 6? When did that happen?" so the Screaming Firehawk never entered my brain, and if they continue to call the Razorback that for the rest of the show, I was probably confused the entire time. I almost forgot about your lust for Marco. You really make me wonder. I don't find him attractive at all, so it was (perhaps) easier for me to see him as the monster (asshat) that he is from the get go, but it really makes me wonder if a beautiful actress (or even an actor that appeals to me more) played such a role, if I could be taken in. It sucks that Hollywood is still the chauvinistic cesspool that it has always been.
