They've used Savage Industries in the show before, by the way. The "contractor" that Ren, Stanni, and "Melba" worked for in the back half of Season 3 was also Savage Industries. I guess they were able to find work with the Belt after that unfortunate incident with the Seung Un.

It was more me wondering if Adam Savage designed the robot. I know he was in the other episodes, and they used savage industries at that point too. It’s a great call back.

I think they asked him about that, or somebody asked somebody.... anyway, the upshot is no, Adam didn't design the robot, but he was proud to have his name on it anyway. :) You've probably seen some of the YouTube stuff with Adam geeking out over the show; if you haven't, go seek it out, it's really cool. I don't think he did anything with them beyond Season 4, so it should be safe for you to watch them now.

ya, marco gives great speech. he's speechy keen, lol. when we're able to observe him more closely and not just in trenchant sound bytes, we're able to see that, despite being right about several political issues, that'sjust his display. he is a sociopath / narcissist / borderline personality disordered blowhole who's spraying his version of things all over everything. and that shit's hard to get out.
